Your cart is empty. The FOTGA DP3000 whip speed crank can be attached in the provided square hole at the center of the wheel in the follow focus. Thus, the hand merely has to spin the rod, which turns the wheel. The micro whip allows the user to adjust focus remotely significantly reducing the risk of vibration being picked by the camera.
Made of the material as heat-shrink tube and aluminum, this Fotga brand speed crank whip is strong enough and touch good. Diameter of the blue hand wheel is 42mm,and the proper ergonomic design on the wheel makes it easy on using. And it fit for any follow focus with standard accessory port (size: 12mm x 12mm).

Product itself is of good quality. However, the title and imagery is VERY misleading. This is only for the 10" version of the whip. Why they tell you all the different sizes and show a picture of all the varying sizes when ONLY selling the 10" is beyond me. They could at least add a drop-down box to select the size - THEN this wouldn't be nearly as misleading.(They've fixed their title after I submitted a complaint to Amazon. Again, great product for the price especially... just not exactly what I was expecting, based on their title original title, when I ordered it.)

Has been the standard connection and works as expected. I do think the cable is a bit stiffer than perhaps ones costing more but still very usable.

It fits, it turns, It works. Not really much else to say about it. For the money, it's a good buy to have in your growing equipment set.

The whip is great but it didn't fit my follow focus. It's super tight. The ball fittings that keep the ball joints in the the end come up a bit and scrape the inside of the square hole of my follow focus(I don't care about that.) the thing I was concerned with was it not fitting inside all the way and then creating a shift while spinning. That caused a non fluid movement. I milled down the inside of my FF and all it well. I just that it was a standard size.

The cable between the follow focus and whip handle is not flexible enough, so it's not easy to use, and you can't position it where you need to.

Whip will work in a pinch.However, the whip turns one-way better than the other. There is a "lag" when turning the whip one way due to the cable unwinding itself in one direction. The other direction is a "positive lock" and feels at one with the focus puller. So a multi move will be a bit harder to achieve uniform speed. Recommended as a backup or a one-way focus whip. It's cheap!

These follow focus whips are well made and fit well with my follow focus units. Unfortunately, the wire is way too stiff. More flexible wire doesn't transmit unwanted movement from your hand to the FF, and then your camera. This is so stiff that it doesn't really isolate hand movement from the shot. If they just changed to a softer wire then they'd be the best cheap FF whips available.
