I bought this same brand previously for my Pentax K-5. On my Pentax I use it with an old manual focus 50mm f2, and the macro capabilities are impressive. These are pretty much the same item, except in MFT mount and I'm equally impressed with the results. The tubes are made of metal, so are solid and durable feeling. You can separate them or combine different sized ones to suit your needs. You will need to experiment with various combinations of tubes and lenses to get the type of macro images you are looking for. With the right combination of tubes and lenses you can literally focus mere millimeters from your subject, or as far away as several feet. You will need to use these with a lens that you can focus manually, and a prime lens is preferable as this removes a lot of complications out of the equation when you consider that moving even a fraction of an inch can often mean the difference between being in or out of focus. One slight caveat is that it is a little tricky to remove your lens from the extension tube. The little silver release knob "slides" to release, at first I thought you had to "push" it and it took me a couple of panicked minutes to figure out how to remove my lens the first time I used it. It can also be a little stiff the first few times you use the release knob, but it gets easier after that.Overall a worthwhile accessory to have, and a very cost effective way to do some fun and interesting macro photography.

I just got this today and tried it with my Laowa 7.5mm F2 lens. It screwed on easily but now is stuck on the lens and can not be removed. I am 100% sure I did not cross thread it. I saw reviews were people said the different parts of the tube stuck together but no one said anything about it sticking on your lens. Yes, I pulled the pin in the direction of the camera body. Also, the 7mm section is stuck on the camera mount part. If you value your lenses, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! Now I am out a $350 lens because of a $12 accessory.Update.....After A LOT of effort I was able to get it off my lens using a pair of channel locks and was able to save my lens. I still absolutely DO NOT recommend this product!!!!!!!!!!

These tubes seem to work well and you can't beat them for the price. The lens mount rings seem solid enough and fit tightly (although that does make them a tad hard to remove). The smallest (7mm) ring is terribly hard to get off due to it's small size so I'm going to avoid using it. It's worth noting that if you are going to be using these, make sure to use a lens that has a manual aperture. If you don't stop down, the depth of field is so incredibly small that you are likely to having focusing issues. Overall, an inexpensive way to venture into extreme macro photography.

So I didn't heed the advice of other reviewers, and unfortunately the mount/housing on this failed where the spring/pin is involved. The issue with this is in order to unmount the adapter from your lens, you will need to use a paper clip or other small devices. It took me about 20 minutes to get off my lens the first time and then when I tried to use it again, another 10-15 minutes and at that point I just disassembled the housing and removed the pin/spring mechanism. I'd avoid this product.

This is an amazing product, given its price. If you, like me, have never used an extension tube before, here are a few key points I learnt:1. WIthout focus and aperture control, put simply, it will use your lens as more of a magnifying glass. Just like a magnifying glass, you will need to move the camera forward and back until you get the right focus.2. If you use a zoom lens, you can zoom in and out to get the focus instead of moving the camera. Same effect.3. Longer lenses work better. I got the results attached using a 50-150mm Olympus lens. Honestly the lens is very mediocre in normal use, slow, cheap, light - but in this case it worked as a superb magnifying glass!4. Live view (large screen) is tremendously useful (to me) than trying to look through a small viewfinder in getting the focus right. Your eyes may vary.5. The focus, again much like a magnifying glass, is at most a quarter inch of sharpness - see pictures to get an idea of what this means. Wide open aperture on a 150mm lens, with a bunch of extensions, allows very little room for error. Luckily in the digital age we can take a hundred shots and throw away 99 for that 1 good shot.6. Camera stabilization is a must. My lens was pretty slow to begin with, plus the extenders significantly reduce the light coming in. It's like the lens is focusing on a huge screen and you are looking at a small window in it to see the picture. Either go with stabilizing cameras and lenses, or bring out monopods or tripods.

It does its macro job. Tried the 7mm and the body adapter, quite good close up still shots. You need a good tripod and remote controller to shot the shots. Don't try hand-held as the depth of field is very narrow.

I purchased this "reasonably" priced set of extension tubes so I could experiment with a little macro work. Finally had the chance to try it out today... Seemed to work okay...UNTIL I TRIED TO DECOUPLE THE TUBES FROM MY OLYMPUS LENS. The fit is so snug that I was NOT able to remove the tubes and ulitmately BROKE MY LENS while trying to get them loose...WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK!!!DO NOT BUY THIS P.O.S. unless you want to replace your lens...This might be the last time I ever purchase photo gear from Amazon, as obviously they sell some real junky stuff...

This does not grip the lens properly. Maybe they want me to use the thumbscrew to hold the lens, but that doesn't seem promising and seems like a good way to damage the lens.

Works as intended, great macro ability. Just be mindful you should be using a manual lens, 50mm ideally and account for loss of light.

Son de metal y se sienten de buena calidad. Muy buena opcion para los que quieren tomar fotos macro de vez en cuando y no quieren invertir en un lente.
