It is still chilly here, too cold to start up the water features in the garden. But I wanted to get familiar with this product before using on the water fountains. So, I figured I could try it out on my glass shower doors which seems to be eternally afflicted with hard water issues. I followed the directions and applied it to the glass surfaces. To my surprise, there was quite an improvement. The glass shower walls are well on their way to be being clearer. I can't say it was a miracle, but I think a couple more complete applications should do the trick. I have tried just about everything I could find but until now, no luck. I figure if it will help those glass walls, it should do a great job on the fountains and water pumps.I did a little research and read that it's safe for birds and animals as it is enzyme based and does not include chemicals. And only a small amount is needed at a time which makes the product very economical to use on a regular schedule. I feel confident that this product will be safe to use in my garden and, hopefully, I will have same good results for my water features as I did for my glass shower walls.

Got this to clean up some minor calcium/scale build-up in our bird fountain. I dumped half of the bottle into the fountain and let the pump distribute the solution. This scale remover did do what it was supposed to do. Results were fairly quick: in an hour or so I noticed a difference and I think it is just a matter of time that it will remove all of the buildup. I have covered the fountain with a tarp and will let the descaler do its work for a day or two. Very happy that I came across this stuff.

Time will tell if this works. I am currently using it on a relaxing desk water fountain. I put a couple drops in the fountain every time I refill it to prevent calcium and mineral build up hoping to make the motor last longer. I like that it has a safety cap on it. Instructions are clear on the back of the of bottle.
