Used this in my Koi pond and helps to keep the water very clear so I can see all the fish and does a good job controlling algae growth on the rocks in the pond, good purchase!

I use this along with physical removal of as much of the duckweed and aquatic plants as I can. Muck level seems to be going down.

Used this product on a 50’ x 60’ pond and did not work. Used all 5 packets over two weeks and saw no change, very disappointed in this product.

We converted our old pool in the back yard into a fish and duck pond. The giant timber bamboo planted around it makes lots of debris, a lot of which falls into the pool, along with other things blowing in from the farm. I used to use Muck Reducer, but got away from it for a couple of years. This year, the pool/pond became very bad during the heat wave, even with me pumping large amounts of it off to irrigate the fruit trees and replace some of the water quite often. I started losing some fish, so ordered the Muck Reducer again, and started putting one packet into the pool every month. It look a little time, but now the water is much clearer, I can again see the fish, and the bottom suction on the pump doesn't fill up the pump strainer with debris anywhere near as much. It didn't have much hope that it would do much, but it actually has done way more than I was expecting. And the small pellets are easy to toss in the pool, and they sink immediately, before the ducks can paddle over and try to eat it.

Our pond plants have been overgrown since last summer and blocked water flow. It reduces the effectiveness of our biological filtration systems. We have trimmed the plants back and tried many different Muck and Sludge Remover products in different forms, including liquids, pods, powders, blocks and tablets. Compare with all those solutions, tablets have advantages of easier to apply to every designated spots in the pond and financially more economical. This pellets are small and you can just throw them into the pond evenly from everywhere. It took a little more than a hour to dissolve. At first, we followed the recommendations of 2500 gallons dosage rate and applied 100 tablets twice a week. Making sure it is safe for my koi, two weeks later we doubled the dosage to enhance the effectiveness before winter comes. It describes this product can “reduce up to 2 inches of pond muck per monthâ€. After 2 months of using, we are unable to measure how much muck and sludge has been removed. But definitely notice the improvement of clarity and less dirty of filters. Looks at before and after pictures, you can see how great the result is.
