Resolution is 0.00001" and the measuring depth is 3.15". The gauge has constant spring pressure for repeatability and Bower's FastFit measuring heads for rapid measurement. It uses a three-point contact system for the detection of lobing or triangular form error, and ceramic contact points provide high durability and stability with regard to thermal expansion. I was looking for a set of pin punches mostly for working on my firearms. I really only needed the smallest ones. These turned out to be much larger and more robust than I need. These are serious punches. I'll keep them and use them for other purposes. They come in a vinyl pouch to keep them organize. Nice set for the $, assuming they are as durable as they appear.

I've use these several times and they held up during pins out. They are long which helps a lot. They are very well made. I recommend them.

I bought this punch set. The first time I used the 1/8 in. punch it fragmented into multiple piecesI trashed the rest if them. It's not worth an eye or a doctors visit to remove a piece of these things.
