For the money it is a good value and a good quality. Repeated edge finds are well within 0.5 thou if you’re careful (according to my DRO). I had used on before but never had one in my tool chest.

This is used to find the edges of objects accurately on the milling machine. I have never used one before but it works very well indeed.

Excellent for use with my benchtop mill. Sturdy and functions perfectly. Has eliminated measurement errors which occurred with more expensive laser centerfinder. Worth every penny.

I don't use the cone side, but it's there if I ever need to locate a hole. The .200 end works great.

It came wrapped in a oil paper, but the edge finder end still had a few small (small) rust spots. Good for hobby folks, not good for pro use. Why they don't toss in a small silica packet is beyond belief. Tool works though.

Works great. Not really much else to say about it. Does exactly what it's supposed to do.

The device is well made, but I think the internal spring is too strong. It makes the tips not kick out very easily. I tried lubricating it but that didn't help.It does seem to work ok though; I just question how accurate it is at kicking out in the correct position.I may take it apart and install a lighter spring.

This edge and center finder is high quality. I had a Mitutoyo one (slightly cheaper) and the end broke off. This one looks to be made a bit better and shouldn't break like the other did. If you are looking for an inexpensive edge finder, this looks like the one.

bang on to the thou, smooth operation.Do not use in .500" holder, the hole finder side will want to stay inside thanks to the vacuum created by the perfect fit.
