I received this scanner back in Dec 31 2024 but waited a while for the review. I needed a good scanner that could read ABS codes since i had some and my regular OBD2 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi reader couldn't read them. I have a 2010 Tahoe that would sometimes immediately would throw the ABS light on and the shifter would lock and not let me select a gear until it eventually would, and the times it didn't lock up and switch into Drive fine, i would get the ABS light less than 3 minutes later and then always followed by the red Brake light that typically would light up if you engaged the e-brake. According to some forums i came across, i changed the ABS wheel speed sensors, the pads, and even the front calipers which were overdue anyways. But problem was still there. Long story short, decided to get this scanner taking a gamble based on other reviews mentioning that theirs didn't read ABS, but this one reads mines perfectly! My problem turned out to be the Brake switch on the brake pedal and also found the Power Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor on the codes, both replaced and voila! No more issues with the gear level and ABS light hasn't come on since that day! Also tested this on the following vehicles:2008 and 2016 GMC Yukon XL and both showed Engine, ABS, and Transmission modules.2018 Chevy Trax - same results2013 F150 - same results2009 GMC Acadia - same results2005 and 2009 Nissan Altimas - same.Hope this was helpful for some of you!

Works very well. You're able to plug this into your car and run diagnostic tests, and then using the USB option, you can view the reports at home when plugged into your computer or an outlet. Very efficient and runs diagnostics relatively quickly.
Just like the picture!

Just like the photo. You are getting your money’s worth. My step uncle used it for a few cars he was working on and it diagnoses the issues with codes which is really helpful. I actually got this for my own first car and it was really handy in figuring out issues.May Christ (fully God and fully man) Jesus save sinners like us and wash us by the flood of his cross and by the power of his resurrection keep us in eternal life ðŸ¤

Foolishly, I wasted 29.99 on one of those Bluetooth readers that linked to your phone. When it did work, it left a lot to be desired.I have an 11 y/o Dodge which while I have an unhealthy love for her (the car, not my wife, who I do love dearly, but she snores and grunts while she eats), she has had 2 persistent issues one causing the dreaded check engine light, and another intermittent problem which disabled the restraint system. So I bought another reader. It was a bit confusing to use, and would not give me any assistance with SRS.So, I decided to cut the crap. I got this reader. It has been a godsend. It helped me to diagnose the first code.Fortunately I can still drive the car until I can afford the repair, since just clearing the code doesn't seem to fix the problem. It keeps coming back. But now I know I have a bit of time and that takes the stress off.The cool thing is the ability to scan the SRS, and troubleshoot it without setting off the airbags, which can be a problem.I don't recommend doing that. It gets messy. It led me to discover a flaky connection, which once corrected, makes me confident that in the event of a collision, the system will deploy. It also detected that the previous owner had cut the wire to seat occupant sensor rather than replace the sensor. I will be dealing with him later. But, the code reader can do many other useful features, like real time monitoring and snapshots of what your engine is up to.This is a well made, easy to read and easy to use code reader/resetter. And it comes in a good solid case, with instructions for being able to keep software up to date. It's worth it. Go ahead, purchase with confidence.

The scanner itself works pretty good and fast, but doesnt come with what was described the description says it has a battery test which it doesnt nor shows the battery test like on the picture im also missing a module ecu to be exact i only have 3 modules it scans for when it says it should scan for 4 i watched a few youtube vidoes to verify and nt604 reviews all scan for 4 modules but mines doesnt not really happen with not having everything as described and the seller should redo his post to specify what the customer is recieving if you are selling goods

As a hobbyist mechanic who loves tinkering with cars during the weekend, finding tools that genuinely make a difference is always a win. The FOXWELL NT604 Elite OBD2 Scanner is one such find, a tool that has not only enriched my understanding of vehicles but also saved me (and my buddies) from potential rip-offs at the shop. Here's my take:All-System Coverage: What got me first about the NT604 Elite is its ability to dive into not just the engine's health but also ABS, SRS, and Transmission systems. It's like having a professional-grade tool in my home garage. The amount of information it provides has turned diagnosing and fixing cars into a more informed and precise process.Ease of Use: I'm all for getting under the hood, but I'm not a fan of overly complicated diagnostic tools. Thankfully, FOXWELL has made this scanner incredibly user-friendly. The interface is intuitive, with a clear display that makes reading and clearing codes straightforward. It's been a breeze to use, even on different cars.Trustworthy Data: Accuracy is key when you're diagnosing car problems, and the NT604 Elite hasn't let me down. Whether it's a persistent check engine light or a mysterious ABS issue, the scanner provides detailed fault codes and explanations that have guided me through repairs accurately. It's like having a seasoned mechanic whispering in your ear.Preventive Maintenance: Beyond fixing issues, this scanner has been fantastic for regular health checks on my cars. The live data and battery testing features have become part of my routine maintenance, helping me catch potential issues before they turn into costly repairs.Mechanic Transparency: One aspect I particularly appreciate is how this scanner levels the playing field with professional mechanics. Knowing exactly what's wrong with my car before taking it in for service has ensured I'm never overcharged or misled. It's empowering to have this kind of insight and confidence when dealing with repairs.Verdict from a Hobbyist's Garage: The FOXWELL NT604 Elite has become an indispensable tool in my garage. It's not just about fixing problems; it's about understanding my cars better and taking control of their maintenance. For fellow car enthusiasts and hobbyist mechanics, this scanner is a game-changer. It combines professional-level diagnostics with hobbyist-friendly usability, making it a tool I'd recommend to anyone looking to deepen their automotive knowledge and skills.

Been plaugued by an airbag light coming on at random for over a year now. Cost me £80 each time to have garage switch it off and tell me its just a loose connection and not to worry.Bought various OBD scanners non of which worked .Got this, plugged it in, fault read and rectified in about 2 minutes.Love it, can't recommend it enough.Car in question BMW i3 PHEV.also unlike most other rip off OBD 2 scanners no monthly subscription required
