Even though it is for 110v/120v applications, I'm using this on a 24v solar power unit. Had to snip off the plug-in end off to make it work. There are only two wires on this unit even though it has a ground on the plug. The wires are Black and White. Easy setup, good value and does what it is suppose to do. Water is low, turns on; water is high, turns off.

Used to FILL a holding tank and works exactly like it's supposed to. Tells the pump to turn off when the tank is full so the tank doesn't over fill.This is an OFF/OPEN float (when the float is at rest [in a level position], the switch is open, so electrical connection is not being made). If you need something to empty a tank (like a septic system) this is NOT the float you need.

This Float Switch working great to fill my house water tank. The old 1 broke. Could not find 1 in town anywhere. And it is cheaper then the Sump pump Float Switch that is in store here.. Easy setup in minutes. Delivery was 1 day early.

It works for what it does. Just be sure to read read read. I completely missed this was for filling tanks not draining them. Will be keeping around as it prob will come in handy for other areas.
