If I could give 6 stars I would. This is an amazing oil filter. Might be the best filter on the market. I use this filter with AMS oil. I change my oil between 15,000 and 20,000 miles. I have sent my used oil sample to Blackstone laboratories for analysis and each time they say oil is in excellent condition and they say I could go a few thousand more miles between oil changes. This filter performs very well and is very inexpensive.

This filter is built to endure 20,000 miles of usage but the price is around the same as an OEM branded filter that is built for the standard oil change interval.I change my filters on every full synthetic oil change, so I have peace of mind if I run over the recommended oil change interval of 3000/5000. I have typically run 7500-mile changes, and my engine is still running strong at 220,000 miles on a Ford V6 from 2002.The grip is what makes me not look at another filter. Knowing I will be able to grip, and hand spin the filter off is important for me having experienced stuck filters in the past. That feature alone sets it apart from the pack.

I've used these XG filters for many years. Perfect match for synthetic oil and maximum life of your engine. If you pay for oil changes, buy your own oil and filter and have them use yours. They generally use the cheapest quality hence their 3,000 mile recommendation.

The manufactured packing carton was almost damaged & no sealed protection for the filter element which makes easy to be polluted with dust or any foreign particles.It smell like kerosene. I will not order again.

If this item fits your vehicle (in my case it fits my Toyota Tacoma) AND it may also fit your zero turn/garden tractor or generator with a Kohler engine - you can't go wrong for under $5 delivered...the filter performs adequately and the grip-dip on the top is an added bonus. If it fits your motor - stock up!
