The Franklin Sensors ProSensor M90 Stud Finder is hands down one of the best tools I’ve ever purchased for home projects! With its 9 sensors, it provides incredibly accurate and precise readings when detecting both wood and metal studs. I used it to mount shelves and hang pictures, and it worked like a charm every time. The light bar shows you exactly where the stud is, making it easy to find and mark the perfect spot. What I love most about this stud finder is how quick and simple it is to use. You don’t have to worry about calibrating it or making multiple passes—just run it across the wall, and it instantly detects the studs. It also works great on both drywall and plaster walls, so I don’t have to worry about switching between tools for different surfaces. The Made in the USA quality gives me confidence in its durability and performance. It feels solid and well-built, and the ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold and easy to maneuver. If you're looking for a reliable, easy-to-use stud finder that gets the job done right the first time, I highly recommend the ProSensor M90. It’s a game-changer for anyone working on home improvement projects.

Easy to use, detects wall stud even on plaster walls. Very Impressive. Ready to use right out of the box. Family owned company is a plus.

Stud finders are pretty much all the same to me. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.This one is close to idiot proof to operate and is relatively accurate.

This stud finder is easy to use, and it shows you the width of the stud , not just finding one edge.

Best stud finder EVER! Not only does it show you where the stud is, but exactly how WIDE it is.

After searching on-line for a stud finder, this one is the most accurate. It's easy to use as it lights up when it detects one. The light will turn green in the middle when it's the middle of a stud. It's way more accurate than the Zipcon HD55, whereas that one will show a 3-4" gap from each edge of a stud to the middle. No calibration needed for this one, just turn on by pressing the middle black button and just start moving. I've scanned over several studs and it always gave a accurate reading.

I don't know if it is the battery or it is defective, I tried it on my walls and no luck. I thought it might of been me but I had others try it as well in their own homes and they had the same results. Also replaced the battery with new and no luck , sorry but sometimes you get a bad product and some time you get a good One out of a hundred, a fortunately I got a bad one. Just wasn't meant to be.

I got this to save time from finding studs for numerous projects over finding studs via magnet and to more accurately gauge the the entire stud and not just where a screw was used in the drywall. I also wanted to find if any crossbeams were installed for fire block for the cable runs I have planned. Anyways, it did detect studs well when I tested it on studs I had already located, but it also detected studs that didn't seem like they would exist due to not being either 16" or 24" from another stud. It also seemed to detect crossbeams, but when I ran a borescope attached to fish tape and a magnet in a wall it detected crossbeams in (overkill, but I really don't want to have to cut out a space in each wall I want to run cables in to drill or notch the crossbeam then have to patch and paint several walls if there isn't a crossbeam), I was able to run all the way to the top and confirmed it by seeing the the borescope video move when I used another magnet to at the top of the wall. The false positives seem to be from the drywall seams and possibly from electrical wires. Also, it just detects all kinds of stuff when looking for studs attached to concrete block, which makes it pretty much useless on those kinds of walls. I wouldn't rely exclusively on this, which is really disappointing as it was a recommendation and highly rated.

Have used this a few times now & it is great at identifying exact location of studs. It got a little confused one time (all lights illuminating across the wall). However, when used on the opposite side of wall it worked perfectly - so maybe there was something setting it off. Overall very pleased & would recommend over cheaper less accurate items.

I would advise owners to make a mock up using scrap materials to familiarise themselves with the response and readings produced.

Press the button, finds the stud. Let’s show the exact width of the stud as well. Excellent tool and much more accurate than others I have used in the past. Highly recommended.

One of the best stud finder. Does not make sound. The LED lights shows and indicate the location of the stud thickness.Easily to use. No AAA battery, must buy your own and put it one yourself.Recommend for anyone looking for a stud finder.Thank you very happy customers.
