My 7 year old plays lacrosse and loves to practice in the backyard. We set up this net for her, and she enjoys practicing back there. It was slightly complex to set up, but we finally figured it out. You could also use it for soccer if needed.We store it in the garage when we are not using it, and it's easy to carry. We will continue to use this net.

On the whole this is a great portable goal - while it's obviously designed for (and shaped for) lacrosse, there's nothing stopping you from using it as a mini soccer goal as well or street / field hockey...or anything else really. Franklin has lots of experience building home sporting goods and it really shows here. The goal fabric itself is heavy duty as is the netting and the poles are quite strong despite being fairly thin and fairly light in weight. The whole thing (once built) gives a great sense of durability and like it will stand up to the rigors of life in the hands of a child.Putting the goal together is fairly easy and takes perhaps about 15 minutes - the instructions could use some work (they're probably the weakest part of the whole kit) but it's not hard to figure out and doesn't require and sort of tools. I haven't quite figured out the way it's supposed to be folded (there's a way to fold it such that you can put it in an included carrying case and take with you- again, could use better instructions) but I found a way to fold it that works well enough for my purposes so I'm going with that. It's very nice that it folds at all and the carrying / storage case is a nice touch.So if you're looking for a portable goal for your beginning sports start, this is a great way to get started - give it a try today!

The only way to get my nephews outside was to get something that they would love and have more fun than in their tablets. Ever since I have bought them this I see them playing together and staying outside more frequently than they use to. This product it is very easy to adjust, it takes a few minutes and when we go somewhere to picnic this always comes with us.

We love this goal. It is super simple to set up and take down. The carrying case makes this goal extremely portable and great for easy, out of the way storage. This goal is obviously smaller than a regulation goal, so its best for players with a little more experience and accuracy, unless you love chasing the errant balls.

My son loves this little net. He's 10 and he's able to fold it down and open it up on his own. Definitely want to use the included anchors if you're throwing real balls at it, but we also like to use it with tennis balls in the garage to corral the missed shots.The instructions to assemble were not the clearest, but overall easy to figure out. The built in carry strap and the included bag are nice if you need to travel with it.
