My son loves this! I love it bc it's easy to take with me to the park to practice. It took a little to learn how to fold it but once you learn it's easy.

So, this is probably my fault, but I did not really pay attention to the dimensions, and this was way too big for indoor use, but that is on me. As far as the goal itself, it is pretty nice, not sure how long-lasting it would be with outdoor use, but certainly functional out of the box. Putting it back into the carrying case is not fun, though getting it out was easy.

I loved the idea of this net and the 2 sided options so we can store it in our garage. However, the carrier for the net tore after the first use and after 3 uses the net would no longer fold up like it should. The net is not sturdy and is very light weight, which is worth it for the ability to store compactly. Now that it won't fold, I wish I would have spent the money on a better net. The cost is not worth the poor quality.

would have been nice if it had arrived not ripped in two places on the hockey player side and the poles for the sides had been included. Looks like it would be a cool goal but we got a defective one.

I gave this to my hockey obsessed son as a gift. It is very easy to put together. The net unfolds and there are two poles that must be inserted on either side to give the net the rigidity needed to stand up. The net overall is very light weight. It comes with stakes to secure to the ground if need. If unsecured, it's easy to flip between the goalie and the open night. My son often piles obstacles in front of his other nets to mimic the presence of a goalie. This net provides this challenge while also the option of an open net for regular play. The net appears to be well constructed. The carrying case includes two handles and while it is still fairly large it does fold down very flat with the net inside to make storage easy. One thing to note, please check the dimensions...it is very large. For our purposes it is fine but if you want to use indoors and have limited space this may be an issue. I think this is a great net for anyone who wants a challenge and to work on their shot or just needs a net for a friendly game of hockey.

This pop up net is ok. It's not top notch quality, but it is easy to set up and easy to use. The storage bag this comes with is poor quality. The zipper broke on the first use. My son likes the net and we like that it's easy to fold up and store when not in use.

My two boys have recently taken to playing street hockey with some neighborhood friends so we picked up this excellent pop-up goal from Franklin Sports. This 2-in-1 goal swaps between a standard goal (red trim), to a shooter practice side (nylon goalie) with cut-outs to help kids practice shots. The net sets up in just a minute, the only part requiring assembly is inserting two poles into each side to prop the net up.Best of all, the entire net folds neatly down into an oval shape and can be stored in the included nylon storage bag. It's great for folks with garages already brimming with kids toys and sports gear! Folding the net does take a minute of practice but once you figure it out it's super easy.Recommended!
