There’s a little bit of a learning curve on this, but once you figure out what all the buttons do and what you can and cannot do when some features are on or off, everything works great as it should. It is definitely not GoPro quality, but it is perfect for my use to recording some riding footage and as a dash cam for insurance purposes. The Bluetooth works great with my iPhone, which sits on a tank bag right in front of me. If I’m listening to music and a call comes in, the music pauses so I can answer and chat on my phone, then resumes when the call is ended. Some of the prompts are a little hard to understand, but others are clear as a bell. There appears to be two different voices… One for all the Bluetooth features and one for the recording and Wi-Fi features. You don’t need the app unless you want to view videos instantly… However, using the app to set up the features of the unit is much easier by utilizing the settings section.For the price, this unit is well worth spending some time to learn how to use it

The first time I went for a ride the mounting screws that hold the unit to the helmet mount came out and it fell off. I managed to find it and discovered that the screws were too small and stripped out of the brass nuts. There is no way to fix it. So the whole thing is useless now. As for the unit itself, it's okay. Playing music is easy but the video works only when the app is running. Not a fan of that. I wish I could give zero stars.

tried to put this in my helmet but the earphones are SO BIG. If your helmet fits the way it’s supposed to, the earphones will hurt so bad on your ears.
