This works great but it is very sharp. I used some meat gloves with it after hitting myself with the blades. It made cutting chicken jerky for the dogs very fast and easy.

In my 45 years of life I have never cut myself with a knife. Not cooking, not working in the yard or on the house, and not even with my hobbyist woodworking.The very first time I used this meat cutter I sliced my pointer finger to the bone. Got about half-way through cutting a pound of london broil for jerky meat using the 2mm setting. You have to saw decently hard at 2mm to cut through the meat, and eventually the suction cup released from counter and the whole thing slid forward until I stopped it, with my finger.So i'm going to toss it and do what I should have done to begin with and buy a deli meat slicer.

This product is extremely sharp and does a wonderful job at slicing. I have used this several times. And I really love it. I purchased another one for my son and it arrived dirty with blood on it. The outside of the box had blood spots on it. And the blades were also dirty. I am sure this was a return and am so disappointed in Amazon for selling a product that wasn't checked out before reselling. So that is the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars.

We live Philly Cheese steak subs and stir fry. So we got this so we didn't have to pay for already thin sliced sirloin at the grocery store. We got a few pieces of Chucky sirloin and used it in this machine. A little tougher to do than on some of the videos but it really worked perfectly. Now cleaning was easy with the brushes but I did have to take the two sharp razor parts apart to clean. Did so and put back together being very careful not to cut myself. Little bit later looked down and saw a cut on each hand on fingers. So even being careful still resulted in cuts. So immediately ordered a set of filet gloves. Won't use this thing without them just for safety sake. This is our firstbstir fry. We love it enough to keep it for sure!

I never leave reviews but I was so impressed with this meat slicer that i just had to give it a 5 star review. This product works really well. I make 3 lbs of jerky every week and slicing up my meat used to take me about 30 minutes and a lot of effort. With this product I can just cut meat in chunks and the slicer makes beautiful, thin slices all the same thickness in seconds with very little effort. I love this slicer! Definitely a game changer for making jerky.

The product won’t suction to the counter as it is supposed to which makes it unsafe
