I dunno what kind of witchcraft these are but they are literally the ONLY thing to take the rancid smell out of my Ubbi diaper pail. I never owned a diaper pail with my first 2 kids but everyone insisted I have the Ubbi Diaper pail for my 3rd. The smell inside was awful after I filled it once. I scrubbed it clean, set it outside to air out for 2 days after each use and used many different deodorizers but the smell always returned after the pail was filled (even with pee only diapers). It’s been a year of that BS and I was ready to call diaper pails a fail until I found this stuff. Added one sachet to the bottom of the pail and the smell was gone and hasn’t returned!! I even added one to the catch tray in our robot litter box and I smell nothing! These are amazing!!

The FRESH WAVE Product is effective, but very pricey! If you visit the FRESH WAVE website...you will see that Amazon is offering the Fresh Wave product for a fair price; however, some of the third party sellers on Amazon have jacked the price way up (be careful of this PRICE HIKE). Do not pay over $9.99 for this product...anything over $9.99 is MORE than what the Fresh Wave Company ask for on their website (if you purchase in bulk, the company will give a small discount, shipping is FREE if you order about 50.00 worth of product from them). For an EXCELLENT DEAL in the month of October...some Target stores were selling this 6-Ct. bag of Fresh Wave (can be used in the plastic pod holder, if desired, but you really do not NEED the pod holder unless it's your preference). Back to the point..Target was selling this product for $6.68 per 6-CT. Bag. I noticed that all of the Fresh Wave products, including the gel containers(8-oz.) & sprays(8-oz. bottle) were on sale for $6.68. THAT'S A TREMENDOUS SAVINGS ($3.31)! :-DAdditionally, I got a really GREAT AMAZON DEAL on this product (@ $6.51 per bag). You have to really "hunt" for the bargain(s) on Amazon.com website.You can also CLICK on the "HONEY" setting... and "Amazon-Honey" will let you know when the product's price is REDUCED!It's very effective when you are not in a rush for merchandise or product(s).PROS: This product is STRONG with the "initial" opening of the package...after a few days it becomes less intense and the only thing left is a pleasant minty-eucalyptus odor. The product does NOT mask the odor...it actually eliminates it. Be mindful that the product MUST be replaced every 30--60 days to keep "existing" odors at bay.If you think the odor is too strong or intense...try using only one pouch in the area "OR" lay one pouch by a box of baking soda (the two together or absolutely amazing)!CONS: The price is very expensive (unless you catch a sale, promotion or discount)!

They honestly make a 100% of a difference.I use them for my work boots. I work 12hr shifts/5 days a week all while wearing work boots out in the elements..My feet will get super sweaty and these packs refresh and kill any bad smell that may linger in the boot

But the smell it creates is worse. I bought these to try to freshen up my kitchen trash can. But I find the smell of the deodorizing pod is worse than the trash. It emits a LOT of smell that isn't very pleasant - imagine the smell of cleaning solution you get from a gas station bathroom - that I can smell even when the trash can lid is closed. I found myself emptying my trash more frequently because I thought fruit was rotting, only to realize it was just the "deodorizing" pod. Maybe it mellows out over time, but I'm probably going to toss it before then.

Definitely replaced smell of dressers drawers but with an overpowering perfumed scent that actually makes the whole room overpowering..
