These bowls were the right size for hot gumbo. We had our annual Christmas festival and we served hot gumbo. The size of the bowls were just right.

These went through my dishwasher wonderfully and I never have had an issue with them melting. They're leak proof if they're on there bottom. I wish I could say these where ease to open. Everytime I open them I get little tiny cuts on the tips of my fingers. They are build very nice and roomy. I can get about 5 to 6 cookies in one at a time I just wish the ledge was built better to notcut my fingers.

These are great. The lids definitely snap on tight, not sure why the other reviewer thought they didn't. I love these and leftovers looks so much more appetizing in these containers! I pack a week's worth of lunch salads in them for work on Sunday night and then I can relax the rest of the work week. Definitely a great purchase!
