This product is advertised as a refrigerator odor eliminator.PROs:- It came in a pack of 4- Lasts longer than Arm & Hammer baking powder (30 days) in fridge- Charcoal is reusable by reactiving it by laying it out in direct sunlight for 1-2 hours (and sorry, not behind a window)CONs:- The product I received doesn't look like what's advertised. The label on the product itself is all foreign so I have no idea what it's saying- There's a date on it of "2023.09.02" (towards top, middle-right of pic) which I assume is a date, but what does this date mean???!!! Is it the expiration date or the manufacturer's date? I had to circle back to the original posting and it says shelf life of "5 years." I have other charcoal bags I use in closets and those say it lasts 2 years. So it's a bit confusing because does shelf life mean when just stored away and not actually used in the fridge, or does that mean while in fridge?- I opened the plastic container only to find a charcoal pack that about 60-75% the size of the case (see attached pic). The case misleads one to believe there's more in there thatn what's actually in there.I got these with a totally different purpose in mind--i.e. as a shoe deodorizer. The packs are small enough to stick into sneakers and it worked to mitigate/neutralize the bad odor.Despite all the cons, I mentioned above, I still find value in this product. If you were to buy sodium bicarbonate fridge/freezer deodorizer and replace it monthly at $1 each & if these could last 2 years, then you're still coming out on top.

I always keep a box of baking soda in my fridge to absorb odors and felt that this product was worth a try. So far I’ve been impressed. While my fridge isn’t full of smelly items, I am an onion fan that tends to smell and leach into my butter. No issues swapping out this for my baking soda.I’ve also tossed one into my kitchen garbage can under the bag with the same results. I’d prefer to stick it to the lid and will be getting some Velcro to do just that. A couple of included pieces would have been great.I like that they can be “recharged†in sunlight, but that’ll have to wait as it’s winter in the US Midwest.IMO, the price is very reasonable as these can replace years worth of baking soda boxes.
That is pretty good

This fridge deodorizer helps a lot in removing the odor of spoiled food that no amount of thorough cleaning, baking soda, coffee, lemon juice, vinegar, or air drying can remove! You don’t have to worry about spills like baking soda. Great product.
