I write concrete poetry, a style that is visual as well as textual, and creating it by hand is essential to my style. Printed fonts detract from it so much it just wouldn't be the same. When I started on my current project a year ago, I dug out my late father's tools for drafting my hand. Seriously, there's NO substitute. These helped me finish the project, and they're great.I do wish I could find metal ones, because I travel with my writing tools and I can see them breaking eventually -- but that's more my own hard use than anything else. These are fantastic for everything from neat lines to angle and curve creation!

Smaller one's marks are not very legible. Track wheels have not good grip so lines are not always parallel. 12 inch one works great!

I am a retired drafting instructor and used tools like these decades ago. This has all the quality and characteristics of those units so have met my expectations.Great to use with grid paper and as a hard line sketch tool. Also great to add a line or two to complete a drawing.I would not rate the plastic as brittle, it has limited flexibility (particularly from my desire to not break). Less flexible than quality drafting triangles and straightedges but not a brittle as low quality straightedges. The wings can break off on these with a drop if plastic is too stiff.Good buy and price for two compared to the price we used to pay for just one of these.

Works excellent for my needs. I had one back in the 80's. I lost it and could never find one until now. Love it!

Good concept, bad quality, the roller constantlyFalls out and I wish the roller ends had some rubber grip for more accurate stability to keep straight lines

My mail carrier likes to jam things in the mail box. That’s probably how it got broken.... unbreakable plastic manufacturing may be a product improvement...

Completely worthless. Won't roll for more than an inch or so until the rollers get stuck and it slides across the paper. Also, the roller wheels are hard plastic so they have zero traction on the page even in the short moments they are nominally working.

I do a lot of line drawing, and while a regular ruler could do the same this it's just so much fun to use!
