I have been making potholders with these sorts of loops for more than 50 years. Until I bought this bag of loops, I always used loops that were remnants from the stocking industry. Those bags were an assortment of different sizes and fiber content and frustrations. Many of the loops didn't fit the loom. Some would break in weak spots. The list goes on and on. Despite all of those drawbacks, the pot holders they produced were always my favorite potholders. As I used up the final few loops from what will be my final bag of remnant loops, I ordered a bag of Friendly Loom loops. What a difference these loops make! My loom is not a Friendly Loom brand. It is so old that the box doesn't even have a UPC on it. Just a price tag for Lee Wards that says, "$1.69". Every single loop is the perfect size with the perfect amount of stretch for the loom. Every loop is uniform in size, shape and color. The colors are beautiful. The potholders are beautiful. No longer will my favorite potholders look like something I made from the rag bag. While these loops are a bit pricy, given how long potholders like these last, the quality of these loops make the higher price worth the cost. I do feel a tiny bit disappointed in myself for not giving a use to something that would otherwise be waste from the stocking industry but, the lack of frustration and quality of the finished product help to ease those feelings of guilt.I would think that, especially for children leaning to weave on this sort of loom, spending a bit of extra money on Friendly Loom loops would be a good choice. The lack of frustration and ability to have uniform, beautiful colors will help a child to enjoy this craft into their 60's like me.

I love these loops because they are 100 cotton and the variety of colors make for nice potholders. I used to make these and give them away to friends and family; however, the company has significantly increased the price of these loops. I think I might need to sell them now. They do make for most excellent potholders.

My 8yo daughter makes and sells pot holders to finance her annual summer camp fees and make spending money. Shes tried lots of different loops and these are her absolute favorite! They’re nice and stretchy, weave well, and they do NOT shrink when taken off the look like the cheapo loops do. :)

These loops are highly recommended. They are uniform in size and color. They are also strong. They are of great value. I have worked with many kinds but these are the best I have ever used.

This company’s looms work best with this yarn. Beautiful, but MAN, the prices are high!

I've used other loops and they were not as nice as these. It made 18 potholders with about 10 extra loops leftover. Colors are nice and bright and there were only a couple loops out of the whole huge bag I found I couldn't use. Just got the pastel ones since the bright colored ones were so good. I'm happy with them.

Only use cotton loops for pot holders or hot pads, the other brands are blends and don't stand up to heat. The colors are pretty and make great pot holders but the price has gone up so much we are not making anymore.

Had equal amounts of each color. Potholders turn out gorgeous!

My only issues are not having names on the package to say what each colour is and that the amount of each colour varies from bag to bag and colour
