Packed very safely. Instructions ink REAL English! Instructions are clear. There is a little understanding and coordination required.There is a button and a finger sensor. OK, I used this to solder 3 lamp cord repairs. NO shortage of HEAT. Has 2 work bright work lights. Did a SOLID repair on my S.W. wire antenna. Be sure to USB charge fully. A light says ready.Yup, real, portable/outdoor. No 110v. Only USB. ðŸ‘ðŸ¼ðŸ‘ðŸ¼Addendum: After a week, doing another little fix @ bench. Lost the single soldering tip incl. So do yourself the big favor. But extra tips. (Rather cheapo to only incl. 1 solder tip.)

Great product for soldering on smaller applications. It heats up super fast with more than enough heat to quickly solder. The small tip is great for very small and precise soldering. The absence of a power cord makes for much easier soldering. The only reasons I did not rate it 5 stars are that it could have come with a couple extra tips, and they could have made the cleaning sponge bigger. Other than those 2 things the product is pretty awesome!

Soldering Iron is great value. Heats up fast , love the pencil design. Fits my hand, well made with 2 LED lights. Stand is sturdy.The socket that you would tighten the tip into feels loose, has a slight wobble . I used it for about 30 minutes straight with no heat fluctuation .

Kept as backup a tool. finally opened it today to use and the darn thing just did not cut it. in fact it , it could not even get one job done . It literally fell apart like a a cheap toy. Even performed worse than the one time use generic ones sold for 10 bucks . slow to heat up came with bad flux in a paper matchbox stand is unstable. Would cool down itself and never get hot enough to solder thicker gauge solder.Not worth buying did nothing last one day nor project.

I put on large lighting displays in the yard and often have to repair LED/Pixel wires, which means tearing down a prop to bring it in for soldering. At one point, I was running an extension cord so I could use my soldering station while on a ladder,etc. This cordless soldering iron is a total game changer. I still need 3 hands, but can easily run out to make emergency repairs anywhere now. More than powerful enough for 16-18ga wire and a charge lasts forever. I've found myself using it in the shop rather than waiting for the solder station to warm up.

Soldering tool is pretty good considering its price so I don’t have any complaints since I knew it wasn’t gonna be the best of the best, the battery last for a bit but I do have to charge it once or twice a week since I use it white often and it takes quite a bit to heat up to the desired temp but it gets the job done so I’m cool with it😎

Lets set the stage. I haven't soldered anything in over 2 decades. I bought this to solder a head unit harness for a honda civic. Thats like or so wires. Without alligator clips or mechanical assistance of any kind, I got through the task in about 30 minutes, and this little soldering pen worked great! I love the touch detection for heating and the little stand is perfect!Pros: - Built in rechargeable battery - Quick charge - Easy instructions/operation - Only heats up when held properly (Very safe, no putting it down and starting fires) - Heats up FAST (Goes from cold to flowing solder in about 20-30 seconds)Cons: - The stand, although designed nicely, feels cheap and rattlesNo cons about the device itself, so far. This has been a great purchase and I look forward to using it more in the future!

The instruction sheet with the soldering iron is crystal clear. Excellent tool works exactly as specified. I would buy again. Accompanying note from manufacturer offering aftersales support is an excellent touch not many manufacturers do this.

I didn't like that you need a hot tip to solder and this one was always cold.

I bought this as sort of a "meh it's worth a shot" kind of purchase. And it works, the USB-C port is handy for android folks like myself. There's LED lights to indicate charge and status. And it gets hot.It does in fact solder, I was able to solder 6 x 14ga 2 wire splice connections together relatively easily, and it still had some charge left. For the odd hobbyist, or mechanic (like myself), or anyone doing the odd wire solder jobs, this tool is pretty handy. Saves you running a torch, or running 120v cables and solder gun.Well worth the purchase.
