  3. The brake cable lock is designed as a mechanical independent system, which means it will not fail due to leakage or pressure loss.

Applicable scene

  • Do not let anything enter the braking system. Clean all connections and surrounding areas before disassembly, and be careful when reassembling to prevent anything from entering the system.
  • The wire lock will be installed in the front brake system (for rear-wheel drive vehicles) for drag racing or burnout. Or, in the rear brake system of a front-wheel drive vehicle. If installed correctly, the solenoid valve will not hinder normal braking.
  • In any vehicle, the brake light must function when the brake system is under pressure. If your application bypasses the OEM brake light switch, you must add another switch to keep the brake light operating. A standard pressure activated switch can be installed in one of the unused ports of the online lock.
  • Install the solenoid valve safely to prevent bending of the brake line, which may cause leakage or malfunction. Keep away from heat sources, suspension, steering and any moving parts during installation.
  • When fixing the accessories, be sure to use the brake line wrench. Use a pipe bender to bend the wire to avoid kinks and breaks. Use Teflon tape only on NPT (pipe thread) fittings.

It looks real nice and shiny and I was looking for one that was red in color. Installed the line lock, but it would not hold; would allow wheels to roll by not fully engaging brakes. I bought another name brand line lock that looked very similar and it works perfectly so incorrect installation was not a factor. Overall, very disappointed.

This does not work it still let's fluid past and doesn't "line lock" like it's suppose to I don't know if it's because I got a faulty solenoid or what but it does not block the inlet line off like it's suppose to

Total waste of money, I tried every different solution I could possibly have to get this thing to work and at best I can get it to slightly keep pressure on the brakes but nothing close to what's needed to keep the car from moving and now the return window is closed. Do not buy!
