We have been using the Frost Guard brand windshield covers for a few years and purchased these for special friends. Generously sized and easy to put on a pickup by yourself.

I saw this in a social media ad and bought it for my husband on a whim for Christmas because his truck is too tall (F250) to scrape the windshield and he has to wait for it to defrost. I ended up giving it to him early when we started having hard freezes in November this year. I was kind of surprised that it worked so well! It's super easy to put on and remove, and it's secure because the door flaps hold it in place. We had hurricane-force winds here a couple of weeks ago and it stayed right on his windshield when our mailbox cover blew away. The mirror mitts are too small, but I expected that since his are quite large. Highly recommend for anyone who has to leave their vehicle outside in winter. I mean, unless you like scraping the windshield. In the cold. And dark. Seriously - get this. You thank yourself.

I got the larger size and I'm glad I did. It covers the whole windshield and wipers, and is easy to keep snug on the car. I like the side mirror covers as well. A timesaver on those frosty, snowy mornings!

I wasn't sure how this would fit - but it fit well. If I needed to cover any more window space it may have been an issue. This is just big enough - with paying care to line it up evenly over the window - to cover what it needs. Covers far enough up that I didn't have any snow sneak down underneath it (even with the blowing snow storm), and it covered the wiper blades as well so the everything necessary was snow free. It's easy enough to install. Removes easy as well. I wondered if it would ice up and I'd have "the storm" stuck to the cover but it shed all the snow and ice with a couple gentle shakes. It comes with a holder for the cover. I don't know what kind of special origami is needed to fold it up to fit perfectly in the cover but I'm not capable of doing it. But it worked good enough, rolling it tight will help it fit in the bag but it sticks out of the end. It also came with a couple side mirror covers which is nice but I haven't tried out yet. Overall it does what I need it to and would purchase this for my other cars...if they weren't parked in the garage most of the time.

I got an e-mail saying they processed my return. I reordered same thing in a different color and it was here overnight. So have no idea what happened to the original order. It was shipped by Amazon. So I don't blame the company who sells this. But what the heck? Glad I reordered as the one that got here today (overnight) is great. Considering this came overnight, it kept saying shipment delayed on the original order. This one got here just as it started to snow today. I love the quality and the look of it. Way back years ago when I got this for a different car, you had to order and pay for mirror covers extra. This time they came with the windshield cover. So easy to put on. It's heavy enough that it won't blow off while trying to put it on. Looks nice on the car and seems to be secured as you have tabs you lock inside the doors so it would be hard for someone to just grab it and run. I'd buy this again when years from now this one wears out. Worth the extra money than the cheaper ones out there. FYI... had to order this one because when I sold my car I left the original in the trunk. It was long gone by the time I realized that and decided to just replace it.

I've purchased a few different brands over the years, NONE were as good quality, or lasted 5+yrs like my previous set. I purchased sets for both my personal vehicles and my work truck. Seems they have improves the side supports over the previous version, which was the only complaint that I had about it, being 2 piece. Great product, lasted a little over 5yrs, hope this one does as well.

The product so far seems to be as advertised. The material seems durable enough, it fits our Hyundai Tucson, though just barely in width. There are pegs at the ends of the two security tabs that prevent the tabs from being pulled out when the door is closed on them. That was a nice surprise as I feared someone could easily yank the tab out of the door. It has already saved us from brushing snow and scraping ice on some very cold Northern Ontario mornings. I would purchase this again.

This product was supposed to include a « storage pouch » for easy storage inside vehicle while not in use. (i.e., while driving off to work in a rush after taking it off). That is presumably why it is about $25 MORE expensive than the same brand that does NOT come with a storage pouch…But the pouch was NOT included!!! No pouch, no bag, NOTHING. Quality of fabric is flimsy on main cover, and even WORSE on covers for mirrors and wipers! I should have saved my money and kept using the ziplock bags and trouser socks that I had been using for the side mirrors and wiper blades. Save yourself the money, and don’t bother with the name brand. Just go with the cheap one that doesn’t come with a pouch. There is no enhanced quality worth paying for here, in my opinion.
