Update 4: my constant stalking has paid off and large is again available. I last bought one in Feb 2024, and one of the rubber hooks was broken by August 2024, 6 months of daily use to keep the brutal Kansas sun off my dash and interior. I have used these for exactly the same thing and have never had one of the hooks break like that, so I don't know if they've used a different manufacturer, but I hope the one I just ordered in Oct 2, 2024 has the old hooks. (Incidentally, as I write this, it's Oct 23rd, and my orders show I can't expect the cover to arrive until December 3-5. I love this cover so much that I am not mad about it.) I've come to accept that I'll need to purchase a new one yearly (due to the silver flaking off after degrading from a summer's worth of hot-as-Hades sun), and I am happy to do that, but I will NOT be happy if the hooks only last 6 months. Marksign! Please make the hooks alone available for purchase!Update 3: large size is no longer available. 😢 Standard size does not fit a Chevy Traverse.I began searching for a windshield cover after a recent ice storm resulted in my having to spend a half hour in the freezing cold and raging wind scraping my car's windows. Many looked similar, but this one had noticeable differences, so I gave it a try.A couple days after I received it, another snow and ice mixture was forecast, so I hurried out to put the cover on my Chevy Traverse. It could not have been simpler to use.The cover, along with the separate side mirror covers, came rolled up in a bag. The soft fleecy side goes down onto the windshield, while the silvery reflective side goes up. Slip the cover over the side mirror, open the door slightly to allow the anti-theft flap to fall in, then repeat on the other side. Fasten the rubbery clips of the front straps to the front wheels. Pull the cover back over the front side windows and fasten the rear straps to the rear wheels. Put on the mirror covers and tighten. Voila. The flaps, the elastic edges of the cover and the straps all work together to keep the cover in place in even strong winds.I've used this through several freezing rain, ice and snow storms now (a Kansas winter storm frequently includes all three). My Chevy Traverse's windshield and front side windows were completely covered and protected. The cover was easy and quick to put on and take off by myself, and even easier with help from the hubs.I've tried a couple different removal processes to deal with a build up of ice, snow or water on the cover, with equal success:1) With 2 people: unclip only the front straps, lift cover over mirrors, then shake off the snow/ice back over the car roof, then open doors to free anti-theft flaps and unclip rear straps. Roll up and put the whole thing back into its case.2) By yourself: on one side only, unclip front and rear straps, lift cover off mirror and open door to free anti-theft flap. Drag cover over top of car to other side and pull out away from car (cover is now reflective side down) and shake off the snow/ice. Unclip straps, open door to free anti-theft flap. Roll up and put the whole thing back into its case.I believe I will continue to use this cover year round. I've always used a too-big windshield shade in summer because I park my car facing West Southwest, so I wrap the extra length a little bit around my driver's side window to try to keep out the blazing Kansas sun. Since this cover covers the windshield and the entirety of the front side windows, I think it will keep my car cool and protect the interior from UV damage.Bottom line: this cover works well and is easy to use. I recommend it.Update: this cover is a lifesaver in the hot Kansas sun. Keeps the interior cooler, and since it covers the front and side windows, the dash and door trim will be protected from UV damage.Update 2: after an entire hot-as-Hades Kansas summer, the silvery reflective outer layer began to crack and finally crumble off in flakes. Be aware: if you plan to use this cover all year in harsh weather conditions, you'll need to replace it yearly. It's worth the $37.99 (for the large size; or $28.99 for the standard size) per year for the convenience of not scraping ice and the protection from UV damage to the car interior.

I've had this product for about 3 years now and absolutely love it! I mainly use it for the winter, as I live in Colorado and we get quite a bit of snow over several months... I love how it not only just covers the windshield, but it also covers the windows on both the driver and passenger doors, as well as helps to cover the door seals on the doors and also the handles of the front doors as well! All of which helps to minimize how much snow you have to remove off of the front portion of your car, and helps to minimize or even keep your doors and door locks from icing over, saving lots of time in getting ready to actually go to wherever it is you need to go! And it helps to keep the front portion of your vehicle clean of snow as well, as you just lift it and can pull it off your vehicle which quickly removes any snow that is on it! I like how you can have your wiper blades either underneath or resting on top of the cover without having to worry about them freezing to your windshield! The straps help to keep it in place do so very well, even in windy storms - windy storms is also when I typically will have the wiper blades resting on top to help hold it in place as well! Unfortunately I personally cannot use the mirror covers that came with this, simply because my truck has the double mirror towing mirrors that are too large for them, but they work great for smaller more standard mirrors! I've also used this for the summertime to help reduce the heat that gets through my windows, which helps to keep the inside of my truck cooler. I would say this item has been worth its weight in gold, and is quite durable for the use that it's gotten from me! Highly recommend!

It fit my Taurus well, but doesn't fit the 2005 Ford Explorer. Large size. Been using this since 2019 for the Taurus, but the side windows on the Explorer make it almost impossible to remove if put on them. The mirror covers on mine do not come off. That is the only issue now. No issues otherwise as it is a great cover.

I got this to keep stuff out of my sunroof and protect my windshield. It is parked under a tree - no option - so I keep having issues with sunroof drains getting clogged. This actually does - just barely - cover the sunroof. I did not install the mirror packs. It goes on easily (3 minutes tops) and comes off easily (2 minutes). It has held up well for the first couple weeks with on/off almost every day. (No tears, still fits fine). It stayed in place through several bad storms and some winds up around 50MPH. All in all - for the money - it's a really good product. And it's nice that if you jump in the truck on a really hot afternoon the seats don't burn you.

The standard size that I ordered fits well for the 2008 Ford Fusion. It was shipped and arrived quickly quickly. We are expecting about 6 inches of snow this weekend , I think this will work well. The material does not feel as flimsy as other brands offered. I like that it covers and protects the side windows as well. Over all, even though this was much more than the other similar snowshield. It fits well and works as advertised.

I was hesitant about buying this because at 69 years of age I didn’t want something difficult. I’m happy to report that it was easy to install by myself. The snow and ice did not stick to it so it was easy to remove and fold up. It’s large enough to cover the whole windshield as well as the wipers and there are no magnets to scratch up my new Malibu. I would recommend this for anyone wondering which one to buy.

This is the best suitable windshield cover for people who live in the most bad winter conditions. I live in Canada and this has worked wonders for me, all i need is to set it up the night before and easily remove it in the morning when going to work. The other advantages this has is the quality of the snow cover, it is not like the other materials which tear in a week use. It has rubber hooks which are much better than plastic hooks and plastic can easily break in heavy winds and not attach properly, rubber on the other hand is much more durable and better for the car itself. Such an amazing product, would recommend it big time!

it's so hard to tell if an item like this is going to fit properly and be of good enough quality to withstand the weather that it is being subjected to. This product is great on both counts! Given the price, even if it only lasts one year, it's still worth it. There are almost too many similar products on the market, making it difficult to do the research. But this one delivered everything it promised in the description. Delivered as promised, nicely packaged, very (did I say very) easy to install, and did what it was supposed to do. It comes down far enough on the front to cover the windshield wiper bay (very important), covers the side windows well and is dead simple to install and remove.

I purchased this windshield cover with the intention of reducing the time it would take me to have an operable vehicle, free of ice. After using this cover for a few days, I found the overall experience to be time consuming. The time it takes to install and remove combined, is the same time it would take for me to remove the ice from my windshield using an ice scrapper tool. Once I remove the cover, I would have to store it in a garbage bag, otherwise the snow/ice attached to it will defrost in your trunk/home.In addition, the rim/tire hooks (x4) were a pain to connect and always took several attempts because the hook would not fit around my rims without a significant effort on my part - I was having to squeeze the hook as hard as possible for it to eventually connect. Some buyers may love this snow cover, as I found it to be good quality materials however it's not for me. I ended up returning the cover and will resume scrapping ice from my vehicle - it's straightforward and takes the same amount of time as installing, removing and packing the windshield cover. I also wanted to point out there is no 'anti-theft' feature with this product - someone could easily steal the cover from your driveway/parking lot without having to access your vehicle - it's bizarre that the manufacture promotes this non-existent feature.
