Added this to a project that was formerly using a small OLED display. Worked nicely. Programming is straightforward. Did not use the touch screen as the project is totally remote-controlled.

The display works fine. I couldn't find any doc on the touchscreen connections, but I figured them out:Xm is on LCD_D0 Xp is on LCD_RS. Ym is on LCD_D1 YP is on LCD_CS. Also, on my unit, the controller chip is an ILI9488

Easy to use. Works right out the box with Arduino UNO and lcdwiki ILI9486_MAR3501_V1.1 library. The back light is dull, not bright enough. Probably not going to use in my project. In the specification (scroll down on the product description) states that the device is 16-bit parallel interface. In fact, it's 8-bit data interface.

This screen does work with the Arduino Uno and Mega2560. This display has a very vibrant display of colors. The overall value of this display is great. Which is why I purchased 5 of them for my projects. I currently have this display actively working on my Indoor Garden. It is doing a great job running 24/7 for the past several months displaying Temperature and Humidity in both inside the grow tent and outside of the grow tent. As well as displaying Soul Moisture level in my plants and displaying when the water pump is ON/OFF.

Issues with poor brightnessIssues with touch screen calibration. Seller suggests it should just work.Issues with the 12 examples that the description says exists. Some with STM32. After multiple emails, the seller is not able to provide more than 2 samples. Neither one about STM32.Seller has competency to sell this display. Buy somewhere else.

Ignore the reviews claiming this doesn't work. Just use the MCUFRIEND_kbv driver, and it works straight out of the box.

similar to other reviews, for me this display worked perfectly for a few days, and then is all washed out/ghosted. This is a shield, so it's not like pins moved while it was sitting there. in my photo the screen should be black, with some green stripes and some gray text in the middle.its easy to use, sure, you just plug it onto a mega and you're done physically. code wise as others say, use the MCUFRIEND_kbv library and its pretty easy to use.but quality wise the fact this one died in a couple days isn't good.

Aparentemente funciona bien. Al final no lo usé en el proyecto.

This display work very well on an Arduino UNO.The drawback is that no instructions are provided with the display. There is also some kind of plastic film in front of the display that is not glued to the screen so when you use the touchscreen you need to apply some pressure so this film will get in contact with the screen.I spent a considerable time looking for how to use it.Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't allow external links in comments. So I can't point you to the instructions and example code I found but here's the libraries you need to install:- Adafruit_GFX- MCUFRIEND_kbv- Touchscreen

The screen is easy to use with the "mcsfreind" driver. Adds a new level to my projects.
