Finally, a decent fix for a poor Ford decision. Well built and nice that it is metal, not plastic.Removing the fuel filler section was not easy, but taking time (20 min) to unwedge the clips it does come out. Takes two people, once clips are unhooked start at the rearward edge and rptate out to the front edge.

Once you figure out how to remove the fuel door assembly from the body the install was crazy easy!! Only thing I had to do was drill out the small 1/8" hole in the shaft where the clip went into to keep the the pin from backing out like the factory pin did. Other than that there was no problem installing the new pin and the small clip it comes with,the price was right for this fix and I'll never have to worry about fixing it again!!

I purchased this because my gas door broke. After getting it out I was able to replace the plastic piece with this one. It was very easy to install and put it back together. I would definitely recommend this over the plastic one they sell and if your fuel door isn't broken yet, it will. Ford F150

You have to change this laying on your back and reaching up in the fender well. So needless to say getting a tiny pin in when you can’t see it is impossible. I ended up drilling the clip hole out a tiny bit and using a cotter pin and not the r pin that came with the kit. Works great

Awesome product. Remove the fuel door assembly to install. I was able to push all of the tabs to the fuel door assembly from under the truck while having a trim removal tool wedged in one side from the outside. Nice quality!

This is needed to replace the crappy OEM one they supply from the factory. Had to always go in on the inside of the door to fix it. This kit includes upgraded, more heavy duty parts so you wont have this issue. Install was easy on my 2019 F150
