The fuel door opened quickly with no problems! The new, other brand spring, didn't work at all even if I widened the spring!

tried another one before this,, rhymes with boreman(garbage),, that had a weak spring and broke when it got bent to far.this one is perfect,, buy this one!!!

Seems so simple and it is. But... The first one I just pushed it onto the pin but the plastic material they use is brittle. It broke first try to install it. I sent it back and got an exact replacement right away. Good marks for seller. The second one, exactly same as first, I took my time to place it in the slot and found it's natural position and gently rocked it back and forth applying increacing pressure to the clip joint. After a few rocks back and forth it popped right in place. Perfect.

Easy to install with flat head screwdriver. Taking off the broken remains of the old spring was more difficult than installing the new one. Longevity unknown as it's only been on a week. The part that holds the metal spring is plastic and if it breaks I will rig up my own. I paid 9 bucks and wouldn't do it again.
