F150 Fuel Door Replacement
A couple of notice during installation.
1. Take off the painted door cover. The tab on the inside is to be pulled out not pushed in.
2. Don’t try to reach around the bottom and push on things.Use small flat blade screwdriver, just use a couple of screw drivers from the front and gently depress and work your way into the clip. You only need to displace the 3 o’clock and then pivot it out.
3. Screw in the hinge and top assembly before attaching the spring or it will cause the too to go sideways and not allow the screw to go in and strip out.

This set restored my loose fuel door to like new. Great replacement for the weak plastic post Ford installs. I did everything in about 20 minutes without removing the fuel door assembly. Everything can be done from under the truck. You just need a good pair of needle nose pliers and a light source. A little patience while aligning the new piece and it all clicks into place.
