I am glad that others who purchased this item chose to leave a review. I was concerned that this part might not work on my 2015 Ram 1500 V8. The part number I received from the dealer ( 68550956AA) is different than the part number on this item. However, the other reviewers said it would work. This is apparently a large problem for Dodge, since the local dealers were all back ordered on this part.I installed the part, the multi-function light (check engine light) went out. The truck seems to be running normally. 5 stars so far, and thanks to those who made the part available on Amazon!

Less than a week after installing this part to clear a P018C error code, which it did do, I got a flashing check engine light and an obvious misfire. I ordered the genuine FC sensor and wiring kit and replaced this sensor today. When I looked at the old one the reason for the misfire was clear - the fuel pipe had collapsed causing fuel starvation. This part has to tolerate flexing - one end is attached to the fuel rail and the other to the chassis. It obviously can't. Another glaring safety issue is that the clip that retains the part to the fuel rail lacks the safety retention clip of the OEM unit. Add to that the fact that the blue clips it did have essentially disintegrated when I tried to remove the retention clip. The clip couldn't handle even a weeks' exposure to underhood temperatures - in April. If it had popped off, the truck would have burnt to the ground. The last item we ran into and one that had me looking up part numbers for the main fuel line, is the that metal tube on this part that inserts into the fuel line (not pictured) is inaccurately sized and was nearly unremovable. Save yourself some grief and just order the FC part - assuming your truck (and your sanity) is worth more than the $50 difference.UPDATEHoping for better luck and due to there being a nationwide shortage of proper replacements, I ordered a second one. It arrive with a crimp already in the fuel line. Unlike the photo they show us, there is no pre-formed 90 degree bend in the tube. It almost looks like they are shoving it in the box and letting that perform the bend. The manufacturer is delivering the parts in an unusable condition. I have added two pictures of one of these parts showing the permanent crimps and one of the OEM part showing a proper bend that preserves the internal diameter of the fuel line though the bend. It is very similar to what they show on the product page, but that is not what they are delivering.UPDATE 2I had an old K-D 2517 tubing bender and a heat gun on hand and I was able to put a proper bend in the tube by hand in under 5 minutes, so there is no excuse for the manufacturer being unable to do so. I saw several of the benders on a certain major auction site for under ten bucks today. This may well be the only part you can find as the real ones are sold out nationwide.

The part does work but was missing the blue retaining clip shown in the picture. I used the old one on the part that I removed. The plastic fuel line is sent to you almost straight. You will have to heat it with a heat gun or hair dryer and form it into a 90 degree angle. It does work.

This fuel pressure sensor fit my 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Outdoorsman perfectly. Most instructions indicate that I would need to disconnect the old sensor so the incoming tube would be removed with the sensor. The replacement sensor did not have this piece. But, in looking at the old piece, the disconnect was downstream of the tube and the replacement fit into everything perfectly.

I had to heat it up to get the right angle. Other than that, it works and no more check engine light.BTW... for extra insurance I taped and tie wrapped the locks to ensure it doesn't pop out.I removed the tube that came with it and used the old one because the tools I purchased to remove the clip did not work.
