The Ultimate Pounce Pad comes with 2 ounces of specially formulated iron-off chalk. That’s enough chalk for several large quilts. Iron it off with a hot, dry, or steam iron. It can also be brushed off or washed off. It is a fast, accurate way to transfer the stencil without using a marking pencil. Full instructions are included. Our popular Stipple Meander Full Line Stencil is 100% continuous line sewing to get the job done quickly and easily and, of course, with beautiful results. The Beginner’s Choice Bundle includes: Pounce Pad with Ultimate Iron Off Chalk #31019 Stipple Meander Full Line Stencil, approx. 9 ¾” x 15 ¼” Full Line Stencils are made of tough nylon mesh fabric; they have no true openings. Instead, the chalk sifts through the open mesh areas eliminating the need for breaks and bridges throughout the design as in the antiquated plastic stencils. There is very little maintenance involved in caring for the stencils, and they could last a lifetime even if neglected. We suggest you wipe the chalk off the stencil before using it with different color chalk; a microfiber towel works well. Full Line Stencils are also water-resistant; it’s possible to use other mediums such as paint or ink with them. They have no right or wrong side, and most have registration marks to align the pattern's repeats. Should your stencil become wrinkled, simply press it flat with an iron (med. High temp, no steam). Beginner’s Choice Bundles are also available with a Pounce Pad with Blue or Pink Brush Off/Wash Off Chalk. It’s something to consider when marking light color fabric. Do not mix colors within the same Pounce Pad. Pounce Pads are also sold separately, and there are hundreds more Full Line Stencils to choose from to expand your collection.

Just follow the directions, one step at a time, then trace on the chalk lines and Whalla you are a quilting genius..... well almost. LOL....... I love this makes my long arm quilting soooo quick and easy. But the real magic comes when you press the quilted quilt with a hot iron and watch the excess marking disappear, just like magic........ This will make you look like a pro at quilting....... just don't let the cat out of the bag on how you got so smart...... Gotta order more chalk stuff....... later ..EQ in CA

Product was as advertised. BUT as a start up set quilter/user would be better served with a different color caulk. I feel a blue would have been overall much more practical and useful (and I was stenciling on dark fabric).I was not impressed with this stipple design. I have used the Stipple Made Easy and feel that its pattern was much prettier. I will probably buy a different stipple stencil to use with the caulk. I have not washed the quilt yet , so don't yet know if it washes out.

The purpose is this stencil for me was to have a pattern to follow on my new mid arm Q15pro. I watched a few videos on how to use, put it to the test on my husbands fish quilt, I loved it

Didnt eork for me. Chalk does not stay long when working with the fabric. Lines to undefined hard to follow. Just plan made a mess. White irons off but pink and blue you need to wash the quilt to remove. I think it was a huge waste of time and money

I tried to use this product .after priming the pounce pad , I still could not get the chalk to go through the stencil on the fabric.
