OMG - what a waste of money that was - and it certainly wasn’t cheap!!It’s a thin sheet of silicone type fabric (like the stuff toastie bags are made from). It was also folded round in four and then packaged so it now has creases in it. The stencil is not cut - you need something called a Chalk Filled Quilt Pounce to apparently puff chalk dust through the mesh to transfer the pattern to your fabric. Goodness knows how much the Chalk Filled Quilt Pounce costs but, as far as I’m concerned, I think that would be chucking good money after bad.
