I bought this for my 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and it's a perfect fit. Not only that, but this filter seems to drastically be a higher quality than the OEM filter.I'm very impressed with the value and quality.As far as the arrow direction, if you have the same model vehicle, air flow goes down, not up.

My car's cabin filter had holes in it and now then the AC used to smell very bad. With this even when I'm behind a vehicle I don't smell the smoke from the vehicle when recirculation is off in AC (at least on day one).Update: smell from AC is still there but less intense. Will try using bosch aeristo premium if it makes difference

Fits 2020 Rav4. Seems to be well made. We'll see how well it works but likely will do the job just fine. Install is easy and way better than paying the dealership 4x the price.
