To Ensure Safe And Secure Installation, Please Observe The Instructions Below
Step 1-3
- Turn off the water switch.Press the flush pedal to drain water from the toilet
- Remove base cover
- Lose the stainless steel strip and remove the plastic half clamp to connect the porcelain and plastic base
Step 4-5
- Tilt the porcelain bowl forward, grab the vacuum breaker attached to the back of the toilet, and pull it out of the toilet. Put the toilet aside
- Remove original kit.Check flush balls for gaps, scratches or mineral deposits. Cleaning or replacement as necessary
Step 6-7
- Place the large plastic disc on the top of the thin seal, through a ring of thin seal raised in the center of the large disc
- Place seal and disk assembly on top of flush ball
Step 8-10
- Place the porcelain back on the toilet base, align the notch with the pin on the base, and align the bowl outlet with the flush ball. Then insert the vacuum breaker into the back toilet and push it into the rubber seal ring
- Reinstall plastic half clip under loose steel strip, tighten stainless steel clamp
- Reinstall pedestal cover, turn on water

EZ to install compared to the original seal. Seems a little thicker. After installing it was sticky on the ball. Silicone spray fixed that. Seals well . I would recommend.

Replacement was easy and straightforward. However the Γ’β¬ΒballΓ’β¬Β valve seemed to get caught on the new gasket but not sure it is this products fault and may have been my installation and not exactly centered. My solution was just to pull up on foot pedal to make sure it closed all the way and sealed. In doing this I found out that I can add additional water to the bowl without flushing it by lifting up on the foot pedal flush (after owning this camper for 8 years - lol). Would buy this again if I need to replace flush valve seal on this camper toilet. This was also my second seal purchased because I did not take apart the toilet to check what type of seal it needed and ordered the wrong one just based on supposed part numbers. So I suggest taking it apart (only a few minutes time) to get correct one the first time.

Every gasket I've previously used was one piece so was curious to see how this 2 piece would work. It works great!
