This product while I did not need it the day I ordered it it saved my family from going to a hotel in the middle of this winter on a very cold night when my igniter failed. Family friends talked about having an HVAC company come out during a storm and they replaced this exact part on their furnace at a cost of over $375 and I thought I better get one just in case and it saved us when ours went out unannounced. it has the universal connection so you can utilize your own plug as long as you buy the correct one that the top half fits and bolts in just be careful. The element is extremely fragile as they all are. Use the ceramic nuts on the wires that are enclosed and you will be just fine easy to install and a lifesaver and money saver. This product was wonderful to have on hand.

My heating company wanted $325 to install this igniter. I did it in less than 5 minutes at a cost of less than $20. Don’t let your heating company screw you; try this first. They are fragile so be careful. At this price you might just get two so you have a spare or break on. Anybody can install it; there’s only one screw.

Installed in late March worked fine, then failed the first week February. A total of 10 about months but if we look at heating months it lasted about 4-5 months. That is an unacceptably short lifespan very dissatisfied

The product was easy to install and at a good price. Be careful when installing the ignitor it is easy to break. Don't touch the element surface, oil from your hands can shorten the life of the part.

Our furnace stopped kicking on and when I investigated, I found that our GlowBar had burnt out. ordered this one and it arrived the next day, was able to install it and get the furnace back up and running within minutes. my only issue, and this is a bit of a nitpick, are the ceramic wire nuts were a little difficult to work with considering the gage of the wires. but considering whoever installed my furnace originally used plastic ones that were starting to melt to the wires, I can deal with a little difficulty to have heat resistant ones.

Very poor quality if they only last a year. Bought one last March (2024) and this igniter just failed as of today 3/8/2024. Don't bother with this igniter unless you want to spend $18 a year and time to replace.

The pig tail it shows is not the one it comes with, which was a good thing in my case because it came with the one I needed. But today my heater went out again and my ignitor reads OL on the multimeter
