These are consumable devices. They will eventually corrode and need replacing. Easy to install. My furnace is over 20 years old. Buy two before the furnace is too obsolete to buy parts.

My 29 year old furnace has been so dependable all these years until last month. I called my brother because I thought it was the igniter. He replaced it but the furnace was still blowing cold air often. We ordered this part and that fixed it. One month later, furnace is working fine. Cheapest repair ever!!! Thank God for good brothers too!!!
