These tires are a very good replacement for the Polaris 180. Then went on snugly and were easy to install. Over time, it seems that no matter what brand of tires you put on your Polaris pool sweep the tires will all develop a black ring around them. Aside from being a little unsightly, they seem to perform just fine, while still climbing the side walls of your pool. These are a good price and all that remains is to see how long they last before developing that black ring. Even if they last this summer/fall, I will consider these to be a good buy at a good price.

These fit perfectly onto my 20 year-old Polaris. Installation was super simple. I did remove my wheels to clean the sticky residue left by the old tires. A couple of words of caution:1) My wheel bearings came apart when I removed the wheels. They are not repairable and I had to replace and not too expensive. If you are careful and know this may happen, it can be prevented.2) I also broke one of the heads off the wheel attachment screw. These are plastic and seem to be brittle after 20 years. These too are inexpensive and easily replaced.

Noticed my Polaris wasn’t tracking well on bottom & walls upon pool start up this spring. Then i saw a wheel cover in bottom of pool. Order these from Amazon instead of going to a Leslie store. They arrived a day later & I installed on Polaris. They were too tight to just pull over wheel but rolling the wheel helped (like mounting tire on a rim). Restarted the Polaris and it tracked the pool bottom & sides like new. I don’t know how price compares to other sources but for product quality & ease of obtaining part I am very satisfied. Would definitely purchase again.

This product is amazing. They were easy for me to change the tires on my Polaris and they were a quarter of the price that I would’ve paid at the pool supply traction value for the money and bill for quality.

Fits perfectly on original/replacement Polaris 280 pool cleaner wheels (which I replaced due to inner gear tread wear). Works great!
