Funtastix are a robust and durable set of juggling sticks (a.k.a. flower sticks or devil sticks) for those just starting out. There is no doubt this set of three sticks -- two handle sticks and one center stick -- is very fun to play with and will be enjoyed by everyone with the full, rubber grip on the flip stick and two grip sticks. All three sticks have a non-breakable fiberglass core while the vinyl tassels provide great balance. The entire set weighs just under one pound (14.7 ounces). The flip stick is 27 inches from tip to tip with 19 inches of grip between tassels. The grip sticks are 18.5 inches from tip to tip. The diameter of the flip and grip sticks is 1/2 inch. Each set of Funtastix comes individually packaged with an illustrated instruction booklet. Best for ages 12 and up but fun for everyone!

I owned a pair of Lunastix for over a decade, and with a sad heart I had to throw them away about 6 months ago because the rubber on them had started to breakdown and it was becoming gummy and nasty to the touch. I wanted a new pair, and based on the price and the reviews, I decided to give the Jolly Llama sticks a try. I am blown away by the quality of the sticks. The weight is considerably heavier than what I was used to, and it is taking a little bit of work to train back to where I was with my Lunastix, but I am becoming more fond of the weight each time I play them. There is a line in the center of the stick indicating the center-of-gravity for it. This makes stalling and carries much easier to do. The control sticks are long and sturdy feeling. Spinning them is fairly easy (and I'm terrible at spinning them). My 15-year old wanted to learn how to use them, so I went through the basic tutorial, and within about 10 minutes he was standing up tossing the stick back and forth. These are great for every level of play.The only thing that I would change is there is no carrier with these sticks. My Lunastix had a velcro wrap with a plastic clip that made attaching it to my backpack during camping trips very easy. I very much miss this feature. I'll have to see what I can do to make one later.

Bought these for my just turned 11 yr old granddaughter. She is familiar with them due to the elementary school has these for recess. She immediately loved these. She noticed they are heavier and the sticks do not slide. The rope strap makes them easy to carry/travel with. These will teach her better hand eye coordination and make her hands/wrist stronger for the cello and she is a Skipper-- a competitive jump rope group.

I bought a pair of these and my boyfriend and best friend liked them so much on our camping trip that they both bought a set as well! The hand held sticks and the flower stick have grippy material on the outside, so this set it SUPER beginner friendly and easy to handle. I since have bought a new pair that are a little more advanced, but switch back to these ones frequently because I like they way they feel.
