I've tried cushions of a similar type, minus the 'arm' rests, as well as the circle beds, the pillow-style beds, and just a flat-out blanket. My dog likes to find someplace soft to sleep - not that I blame him, but it often turns into a sneaking onto my couch situation... I noticed that whenever I'm home he's always resting his head on something, so that gave me the idea to find a dog bed with 'pillows' for my aging boy.Made sure to introduce it to him gently and get him to lay down with some physical affection and praise, like we've done with all of the beds we've tried. Now he's excited to lay there and happily wags his tail at me when I look at him while he's in his bed. The reason I know he was on the couch 'secretly' (minus the dog-hair trail) was a security camera I have hooked up in my living room. Now he lays on his bed while my husband and I are at work and it's great! No more climbing on my coffee table to knock the ottoman off of the cushion so he can climb in and sleep while we're gone, so it's really a double bonus for us.What your dog wants or needs may be different than mine- just like some people prefer hard or soft beds and pillows or thick and thin blankets. Mine wanted pillows, go figure. The material doesn't feel exceptionally high-quality, but it is also a pretty cheap pet-bed so I feel I got what I paid for. With a pooch who didn't use beds prior, I was very leery about getting another one that might not get used to begin with. The inside is a simple foam with the ridges. Nothing fancy or special. Still better than the floor, I guess.

This is HUGE and a reasonable price! I purchased the Jumbo one for my Great Dane and a small one another time for my chihuahua. The jumbo is so big that there is enough room for me to sit next to my 150 lb Dane on it. We may have actually been able to go down a size and it would have fit more ascetically in the living room by the fire place. Truth, I saw “jumbo†and with a Dane didn’t even look at the measurements...I just figured of course. I can’t say that it is chew proof, I don’t have chewers but I would assume the beds holds up as most other beds would given the cover. The cover is easy to remove/wash and it’s a plus to be able to order extra separately and not have to replace the whole bed!! The beds are soft compared to other brands, this particular style I wouldn’t describe as plush, which oddly my dogs prefer. He hasn’t had it long enough for me to see if or how long it will take to loose it’s shape, though I’m sure it’s going to outlast a few we have had just because of the material it’s made of versus “stuffingâ€. I think that the cover you choose also adds to the feel, I have one quilted and the other Is the velvet. Velvet is softer, quilted is way easier to spot shedding on. The quilted seems to be pretty sturdy, that one is actually outside (desert weather) and is easy to brush dirt right off.

Feb 2025 Update: I finally had to take the cover off to wash. The zipper to the bolsters is broken and will not open. I emailed Furhaven, and they have responded that they will send a replacement cover sonce its defective. I'm thrilled since it's past the 60 day warranty period.I bought this bed for my two great danes, 6 mos and 3. I had bought a human sized Napper dog bed that I returned because they wouldn't use it, so I was hoping they'd like this one. You can see the smaller one they'd curl up on next to the new one. I didnt realize how small it was until now. They can actuall stretch those long legs out. They both loved it immediately and I'll be buying a 2nd one. I like the thickness and the fact the cover is removable and washable. I haven't had to do either since I've only had it less than a week.

I just ordered new covers for the beds I bought my dogs several years ago. I ordered the driftwood again. Well driftwood is no longer driftwood!! As you can see from the picture. It’s now a very dark brown/grey. I did have Amazon replace them & they were to send a “lighter driftwood†but it was the same dark color. Not only was this disappointing but Furhaven has changed the way the covers go on. The zipper for the bolsters is more on the inside of the cover. It not easy getting the bolsters in & zipped up. I have 2 beds so I tried both ways, bed first the bolsters & vise versa. The covers do not fit as nicely as they did with the zipper on the outside. This is my second set of replacement covers I’ve bought so I’m not saying this because the beds are worn. The last covers fit perfectly. These covers pull in the corners & just don’t look right. The fur part on the bed is now just a color variation of the velvet, not fur. I originally bought these beds thinking we’d only have to buy new covers as they became worn, now I’m thinking I’ll be looking for new beds once these wear out. I also just noticed that they have changed the picture & it is not the original driftwood picture. So terribly disappointed in Furhaven!!

Unbelievably fast delivery and quality product!!My poor old pup has terrible arthritis and I was looking for a decent bed for her and before I knew it, it was here! Two weeks before I expected it to be.My only regret is not buying her one sooner.

8 week old pug in photos for size reference. This seems like it will also be a good fit when she is fully grown. The top section of the cushion is shaped like the bottom of an egg crate, but soft so it seems to offer a nice support. The removable cover is nice, we slipped a pee pad in there the first night just in case, but it wasn't necessary. The brown cover has a soft sort of fuzzy and warm material that looks so nice to sleep on. The couch side/back cushions are soft like a supportive pillow. They will sink a bit if she wants to use it as a pillow, but it is secure enough to also use as a backrest/security wall while sleeping. This entire bed is so ligjtweight that when the box arrived I thought they forgot to put anything inside it! Recommend for small dogs (maybe good for large ones too, I just don't have experience with that). I would definitely purchase again if needed or to have a bed in multiple locations. Good product for a decent price.

Cama de excelente calidad y super cómoda, nada más llegó la cama mi perra se acostó y le encantó, las fotos hablan por si solas. La tela es muy suave y la almohada de foam es súper cómoda, además tiene cierre para quitar la funda y lavar. Hay camas mucho más baratas pero está vale lo que cuesta.

Is waterproof but very thin. Am concerned it could rip or get poked quite easily. But so far it is doing the trick.

La cama llegó en el tiempo estimado y bien empaquetada. La calidad del forro es buena y resistente y muy suave al tacto, el colchón es de memory foam y viene sellado al vacÃo, pero al abrirlo rápidamente se expande al tamaño normal. Trae también el relleno para el respaldo que es muy fácil de colocar. El color de la tela que es como aterciopelada es sólido, de un gris muy bonito.La camita es confortable para mi perrito que ya es mayor y descansa muy bien en ella, además de que por su función de poder quitar y poner el colchón y el relleno es muy fácil de lavar, la recomiendo ampliamente.
