Some years ago my human bought me a vinyl covered dog bed for $10 on sale at a big box club. Very comfortable and easy to clean. But I have a habit of scratching at the bed before I go to sleep. After a year or so the vinyl was shredded. My human found this low cost plush cover on Amazon. It slips right over the original bed and closes with a zipper. It's comfortable and unzips for laundering. I still scratch at it. My human tolerates my habit because the cover can be easily replaced every few years at a low price.Signed: Boy, the dog.

These are perfect if you want an inexpensive cover for an old dog bed or just a cover for a bed that doesn't otherwise have one.I have 2 chihuahua mixes and they like their plush beds but I hate washing them as they are too big for my washing machine so I bought these covers that I can remove and wash instead. They are perfect for the job.Yes they are a little thin, but no thinner that what you would get on a regular inexpensive dog bed. The zipper seems sturdy to me but I'll see how it holds up over time. I especially like the plush top as it's super soft and comfy. They are not waterproof, but I didn't expect them to be. They are very easy to put on and take off and for $13 each you really can't go wrong! Highly recommend!

They work well for what they are. I bought 3 and one has a failing zipper but otherwise they’re ok. The only thing I don’t like is the bottom doesn’t have gripping dots so the slide across the floor if the dogs get up quickly.

I bought this about 6 months ago and have had to wash it several times as I have introduced a new puppy. I am extremely impressed with how great it has held up to washing the outer cover! My dogs love it, too

I ignored a review saying the zipper defective, and I ordered one anyways, it was initially okay, dogs loved it, went through the wash okay, fit the mattress.So I ordered another, after zipping it up, I couldn't unzip it, it was completely stuck, so checked the first one I bought. There was a tiny cheap metal bracket preventing the zipper from zipping up all the way. So i lightly test how much force the bracket can take, maybe 10 pounds of force, pretty much normal zipping force, the bracket comes off, this zipper is now ALSO impossibly stuck.The second cover didn't even have the bracket to begin with.To give you an idea of how stuck they were, I used enough force to rip off both zippers before they became unstuck. This cover is cheap useless garbage. Luckily I'm in the return window for both.
