This bed is used by 3 very large German Shepherd Dogs. It is sturdy, easy to clean and holds up fairly well. TheThe "Chew Proof" part of the description is fantasy, as anyone who has ever raised a puppy knows. My youngest decided to test the corner binding, which is why I needed a replacement cover. The replacement fits exactly like the original. You just need to be sure that the style you order is for the correct model bed. Veehoo makes several models and the covers are not interchangeable.

My dog is very destructive and quickly chewed apart the original cover for their cot.This material is sturdier and more elastic making it very comfortable for them.My dog is chewing this one, but she has had it for a few weeks and has barely damaged the edge of it!
