This could be a 1 star product for some furniture-moving situations, however, given that moving-situations vary wildly, it could be a 5-star solution in lots of situations. So it all depends. Better to have it, but not need it, then to need it, but not have it.These mini-dollies are particularly appropriate for heavy appliances and furniture that can bear their own weight on their corners, but not necessarily along the span between their corners. The option to use guard rails that can "trap" each dolly from sliding out from under a corner foot is great for tables, desks, and other furniture that have feet. Whereas the dollies can be cleared of the guard rails to manage items that don't have feet and thus need to rest on flat-topped dollies that don't have guard rails.Installing and removing the guard rails is very easy.The wheels are made of hard plastic. Not rubber. Not polyurethane. The wheels are so hard that I worry that they might be brittle enough to chip on surfaces that are hard and rough, like concrete and asphalt. Also, due to being so hard, a pebble can stop a wheel from rolling, like a wheel chock. On the plus side, wheels this hard roll easily on hard surfaces and thin carpeting, but not so easily, or even impossibly, on thicker carpeting.The wheel brakes work well and are easy to access. But I would never leave anything heavy unattended on even the most mild slope. The wheels turn easily, and rotate on a vertical axis far too easily (due to the ball-bearing assembly) to be trusted to stay put on any slope.I applied the soft rubber peel-n-stick pads to the furniture-lifter, allowing one pad to over-hand the front lip of the lifter so it doesn't mar delicate surfaces.Definitely preserve the shipping box because the parts are "French-fitted" inside a custom foam insert, making it easy to put the whole tool set back in storage and make it easy for transport.I tried using the furniture-lifter to pick up one corner of my fully loaded fridge and the lifter provided enough leverage to pick it up. I plan to compliment this tool set with a 2 foot-long 1-inch diameter PVC pipe which I can slip over the handle of the furniture-lifter to use as a "cheater bar" in order to get more leverage. But also as a backup to the furniture-lifter's tubular extension handle which doesn't inspire confidence even though it proved to be strong enough to lift one very heavy corner of my fully loaded refrigerator.

I'm a fairly strong capable young man even still I try to work smart not hard and I do everything in my power to treat my body well and make it last, this product is going to go some distance in that regard. I've got back issues from the military so I can still move furniture but I prefer not to because I can injure very easily I feel confident this kit is going to help protect not only my back but, the back of my friends and family in the event they need anything large or heavy moved I can now do it for them easily. It's very easy to use it all kind of figures itself out as the function of each item included is pretty obvious. It seems to be built very well strong and sturdy there's no shake or wobble in any of the pieces or where any of the pieces are attached except for the joint where the handle attaches into the pry bar but that honestly has no bearing on anything and won't affect you negatively, it's right about the perfect size and it all moves and navigates very easily. You get the four, 4 wheeled dollies, a lifting / pry bar, metal inserts to create a barrier on the dollies if you're worried about your item slipping or getting shaken off for whatever reason, a very nice wheeled pry and or lifting bar to get the furniture on to the dollies for you, which is the best part in my opinion, moving it around easily is great but getting it lifted onto the dollies to move it without having to use my back to do so.. wow what a blessing! And it even comes with a decent pair of rubber coated gloves and then the two black objects you can see in the picture are rubber pads with an adhesive back to be put on the lifting bar to prevent scratching / damaging your furniture during lifting. Almost forgot, it's also got and I can't think of proper word for them, nut plastic blocks for the lifting bar in case the contact point for the bar is too far off the ground. They've also got indentions and side barriers on the plastic block to hold the wheels for the lifting bar steady preventing it from sliding, slipping off or being wobbly in general very well done. All in all I'm extremely satisfied it's a wonderful tool / resource for protecting your body during what is a much more labor-intensive activity than people really give it credit for. Also moving furniture is an activity where back injury is so much more common and easy to occur then people realize you can hurt your back and not even know it in the moment and not see issues from it for days or even weeks. I honestly think everyone should have something like this in their home even if it gets used once every couple years it is absolutely worth every penny I mean the cost of hiring a person to move a single piece of furniture would be about the same as it would cost to purchase this kit it will pay for itself and your back will thank you!

Calling these heavy duty is an understatement. They can handle up to 2000 pounds. I can't think of anything I need to move that will ever be more than that.There is a large horizontal surface to provide a strong and stable platform to move anything. The ball bearing wheels provide a smooth rolling experience and the locking brakes are a nice safety feature to hold your items in place when stopped. I like the detachable edge guards that are good for items with legs to keep them from sliding off the platform when moving. If your item has no legs, just pop them off.It even comes with a crowbar to help with getting your item up on the rollers. This is a complete set to handle virtually any moving scenario.Overall, I'm very pleased with this moving set and would highly recommend them. It's a great deal for the price.My rating method:1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
