Added these pads to the bottom of walnut chairs. The chair feet are about 1" x 1.25" and they slide over a ceramic tile with 1/4" grout lines. Without the pads sliding the chairs out let loose this horrible wail of wood sliding on tile, vibrating and grinding, loud and obnoxious.With the pads the chairs slide out smoothly with a quiet "sshhhhh". Even sitting in the chair and sliding out is now much easier and quieter. These pads work great for me and I highly recommend them.The adheasive is very sticky. Clean any dirt or dust off the bottom of your chair feet for better adheasion.Will update this review if anything changes.

Oh my word! What an awesome product! It's cheap, and it works beautifully!We recently bought eight Amish chairs for the cabin that we built. When they were delivered, they came with plastic, stick-on "gliders" to place on each chair leg. They worked great on the tile floor, so I decided to track them down for home.We also have Amish (very heavy, solid wood) chairs at home and the racket they make as you push away from the table has been deafening. For almost 18 years! I found these "Magic Sliders" as the closest thing to what the furniture store had given us and ordered them. When I them on at home and pulled the chair away from the table, it was literally an "Ahhhh...." moment. So easy, so smooth, so QUIET!I immediately order a set for my parents-in-law, who also have the Amish chairs and tile floor. They loved them so much that they asked me to put them on their table, too. Now they can easily move chairs and table. Since they still do their own housework (at age 83 and 88!), they were tickled pink with their "gift." I honestly haven't seen my mother-in-law's eyes sparkle like that in weeks. :)Now for the kicker: we came up to the cabin this weekend for the first time since I bought the Magic Sliders. The chairs up here (with the furniture store gliders) do not move nearly as smoothly - or quietly - as the ones at home. So I just ordered another four packages.

These are the original Magic Sliders and so i bought them. We prepped the chairs properly. Within a month, all sliders came off, mostly separated between the glue attachment and the resin slider. Thanks to other reviewers, i had the idea to clean and try sticking again. Was able to clean and re-stick with contact cement. So far, it's been three months and they are working as expected. i really appreciate that Magic Slider Company understood my problem. They thought i would be better off with a different kind of slider. They graciously replaced the original ones with the kind you nail in, for free. Nails can be a problem, though, because if the slider comes off the nail which is sticking out the bottom of your chair leg, the nail can badly damage your hardwood floors very quickly.

These work GREAT! We have tile floors in the dining room and the chairs slide around and nobody's business. They are super easy to put on (as long as you have the right size) and they stay put for literally years! The only reason we have had to replace them at all is because they wear down. But like I said, years... like a lot of years. Totally worth the purchase.

These are worthless! We installed them yesterday and they did a great job of sliding effortlessly across our floor, however, they slid right off the bottom of the legs. The adhesive on the glides is terrible and while sitting in the chairs you could just feel them moving off the legs. I would not recommend this product. They are also not returnable so we have lost $22.

I was looking for a slider to go under my new chairs for the carpet. I thought 1 inch should work even though it was a tad smaller than I needed. Well these are even smaller than one inch. It says on the package one inch, but when I measured them they were barely 7/8"This could work in your favor if you have something just under one inch. I'm not sure why they are marked as 1" when they are smaller than that, but other than that they attached easily and slide ok, I just wish they were the size that they are marked as.Thanks for reading my reviewBecky Brooks

We have an open weave CB2 Rug and these protect it while making it easy for my elderly parents to use the dining room chairs. Recommended by my realtor. Now I recommend to everyone I know!

Ich habe irgendwo in den Weiten des Internets von den Magic Sliders gelesen und wurde neugierig. Meine Kitchenaid-Küchenmaschine ist ziemlich schwer, ich muss sie aber, wenn sie eingesetzt werden soll, auf der Arbeitsplatte ein Stück nach vorn ziehen, was bis jetzt nicht einfach war. Das hat ein Ende, nachdem ich sie mit den Magic Sliders ausgerüstet habe. Die Maschine gleitet mir fast entgegen, ich bin begeistert!Zwar kann ich die Maschine nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen, weil sie sich womöglich selbständig macht und von der Platte hopst, aber das nehme ich gern in Kauf, zumal sie vorher auch nicht allein beim Einsatz war.Ich suche schon nach den nächsten Einsatzmöglichkeiten für die Magic Sliders. :-)
