I've had these for about 6 months and have used them on hardwood and carpeted floors to move heavy furniture. So far no issues; they're easy to slide and remain in good condition.

Excellent way to protect your wood floor from the marks left by moving a heavy dining table. Easy to put into place. Could be removed after item is put into place. Mine will stay in place to protect the floor.

Great for moving my table on our wood floor with the slipper cover! Hard to put the cover on but that means it won't slide off.

These furniture sliders are fine for carpeted floors but useless for hardwood. The nylon covers are tiny and impossible to stretch wide enough to get the slider inside them and cover them. I don’t recommend for anything but carpets.

We used this on a bookcase we needed to keep temporarily in a room until we move it upstairs. we have sliders on one end on carpet and the other end on hard floor and we were able to swivel it around. Its quite heavy so to be able to slide it out of the way easily and quickly, out of the way, was great. And we are using it on hairpin legs too. Once we move it upstairs we may consider having them on these sliders permanently to help move it out of the way when we need to vacuum the carpets.

These work really well under heavy items. I haven't tried the included soft covers, but they are well made and should work nicely on softer wood or floors that scratch easily.
