My dog loves this harness. I wanted to include photos for this review and when I pulled out the harness my 9 lb Cavapoo was so excited. It’s a beautiful soft blush/light mauve color. It’s super easy to put on and I love the hook and loop on it, sometimes I don’t always buckle it. High quality, very light weight, and true to size.

First impressions, thank you to the brand for not using plastic packaging! This came on a cardboard "hanger" of sorts, with cardboard tags, no plastic, and I really appreciate that. The harness itself is really nicely made and very soft as advertised. I wanted something very comfortable for our senior doggo and this is just what I was hoping for. I wasn't sure how secure the hook and loop/ velcro-type closure would be but figured the buckle over it would be secure enough; turns out the hook and loop is actually very strong, and then with the buckle clasp over it this isn't coming off of her without help. (Again though she is a senior now and doesn't try to get out of her leashes or harnesses anymore, but I don't know if other dogs could get out of it.) It is thoughtfully designed for comfort overall, and to me it seems to be constructed well too, like it will last quite a while under normal use (unless it got chewed up or something). The only thing that keeps this from being 5 stars for me is the sizing was off for us; I measured and followed the chart, but the measurement ranges for neck and chest were only a couple of inches different from each other on the chart, and for our dog there was a greater difference between her neck (which would have put her in the medium) and her chest (which put her in the XL). I figured her chest was the more important measurement so I ordered the XL per the chart, but it is fairly big for her. I can pull the velcro a little snugger and it is fine, since like I said she does not pull or try to get out of her harness anymore, and so even though it's loose on her it will be fine for our needs. But if you have a higher energy dog and need it to fit properly/ more snug, you might have to try more than one size and see how it fits. In our experience it runs larger than the chart would have me believe.

great vest for a medium sized dog. I bought it for my Australian Shepard who weighs roughly 45 lbs. It's a little snug, but the material stretches some over time. Fits her well

I ordered small but this was too big for my puppy. I ended up keeping it because she'd worn it for about an hour before my son realized it was coming off. I then ordered an xs which was also too big that I decided to return.Other than sizing issues it seems like a great product and I hope my puppy can someday fit the small.

I had a good experience using the FuzzYard Life Step-In Dog Harness in Extra Large on a rescue German Shepherd we were fostering for adoption. Our foster dog had injuries to her neck, so we needed a comfortable harness solution to support her while she was recovering.Compared to others we've used in the past, this harness stood out because it was easy to put on and take off. It is also lightweight and comfortable, essential for a dog in recovery. Additionally, the fit was exactly as expected based on the measurements provided.

I discovered this style of harness for my dog when he was a little pup with Houdini-like capabilities of escaping from any collar or harness. He ate or twisted his way out of many harnesses before I found this type of harness that he couldn't wiggle out of. It is easy for him to step into and easy for me to close the velcro and snap the two ends together. The collar is soft and doesn't rub him anywhere. I like that the leash goes through two loops, one on each side of the harness, so if somehow or other the snap closing came loose my pup would still be held securely.My pup is a 16-pound Shih Poo, and the size small fits him perfectly. Check the size chart as the chest measurements were very helpful as sizes across different brands are not consistent. (His last harness was a size medium, and it is the same size as this small one.) Also, make sure the harness is not upside down when you put it on your dog, as it will not fit correctly--the little square on the outside of the harness goes up by his head. My pup is now five (and no longer eats or escapes from his harness), and I decided he was due for a new one. He was so excited when I tried it on him, and only disappointed when I took it off him. I told him that I'll put it back on for his next walk.
