I have used this product on flat decks, flat roofs with pooling water and pitched roofs since 2012. I've found it best when applied on a still serviceable rolled bitumen based roof. I use their liquid tape as well. My first experience with the product was on a flat deck roof that a professional roofer was doing for me. He advised this as the roof underneath was still solid but sand had worn off of some paper/tar was showing through. A coat of this made it look great and new and totally water proof. The stuff really sticks well holds up to intense New Mexico and Arizona sun and looks good. Very unique product as you don't need to tear off your old roof and you don't need permits. My latest job is my house in Arizona where I plan to metal roof it in 3-5 years but I needed to protect the house for now. Plan on it sticking to any clothing you wear etc and never coming off. I've got it on pairs of pants that have been washed dozens of times...stuff keeps sticking. As mentioned elsewhere be very careful NOT to get it on the bottom of your shoes or walk across a wet roof. Once on the soles of your shoes it remains wet for a while and...slippery. For hand clean up I've found Dawn full strength rubbed into the skin and then wiped off with a rag is the best bet.

I used this product to cover my big front porch decking and also the back porch steps. Wonderful stuff. I had been scraping, wire brushing and sanding them every year. The weather here has lots of wind, snow, sleet and rain, so the paint was always been worn down through the winter. Now I will never have to do that again, ever! This Gaco spreads like paint but dries like a covering of thick rubber. There are several different colors you can choose from. I put two coats on to ensure good waterproofing. I also found that it is easy to walk on and not slippery. Definitely recommend Gaco.

I like the product! I only wish it had a lid that aloud you to pour the product into the paint try and reseal it.I did get three coats on a 38’ R/V and still had about a half gallon leftover.

Great roof patch, This stuff really works hundred percent silicone it’s expensive but it’s more than a temporary patch if you put it on right it could last years prolong a roof repair that cost a small fortune

Nice consistency, not too thick or thin. Forms a nice membrane. I applied 12 gallons, very easy to work with, just be careful not to track it because it will only come up with mineral spirits.

I ordered this yesterday expecting delivery in 6 days, well it was on my front door step at 11am the next day, Amazing! From past experience I can tell you this product is amazing. I had spilled some on a painted stagging plank and I struggled to scrape it off when cured. I could'nt get it all up.

I did a lot of research on roof coatings. There are some negative reviews on silicone products, mostly related to surface prep. I took some extra time cleaning the roof with a bleach solution, made sure it was well rinsed and dried. This product goes down very well, fills in cracks and looks very clean. Coverage is less than advertised, but it has resisted several rains without issue. No blisters after 3 months. Once dried on tools, clothing, etc., it will not come off. Seems to work much better than water based emulsion products.
