Amazing Works Gaffers Tape is a cotton-backed heavy-duty gaffer adhesive tape that is used on film sets, television, theater, and music industries with cable management, fast equipment fixes, and mark spots for performers, device labeling, and so on. Taping down cords
One of the most important uses of our tape is to manage cables on the floor to prevent people from tripping. Our tape is easy to tear, so it's much easier to tape down the cords in sections.
High heat resistance
Gaff tape is high temperature resistant, so it won't melt easily if placed near very powerful lights or equipment on set.
Marking spots for your actors
Our gaffers tape blends in with dark backgrounds and doesn’t reflect light. Keep the audience focused on the performance. it doesn't leave residue on the ground whenever you put it on the ground and take it off.
Fast equipment fixes
Whenever you're on set, things can go wrong and gaff tape is a great solution to some of the problems if something breaks, for example, you need to make a quick little belt for your camera. Our gaff tape is really strong and tensile, can be used for a multitude of things.

I do sound for a number of bands that I play in, running cables for mics, amps, monitors, etc. I use a fair amount of gaffers tape to keep the cables from being a trip hazard. It is usually used for a couple of hours (although sometimes left down for a couple of days) and then pulled up and thrown away. Sorry eco guys.If this sounds like your gig, this is excellent tape. It holds well on smooth surfaces, stands, walls, etc, and (as importantly to me) it pulls up easily without leaving any residue on the customer's floor or my gear.If this is what you are going to use this tape for, I highly recommend it. But if you are looking for tape to hold something heavy, or permanently, this is not the tape for you. Get different tape, maybe 3M duct.This tape does exactly what gaffers tape is supposed to do, for a very reasonable price. Recommended.

This is very strong tape. It sticks to carpets and floors well and is easy to pull up. Easy to tear into strips.

I wish I could have taken a picture of how this tape absolutely failed this weekend when I tried to use it at a music festival I was playing (I was a little busy doing my thing on stage). As soon as the sun hit it, it bubbled up and totally released from what it was stuck to. NOT sticky...not anything! I would have been better stopping at the drug store and getting band-aids.Later, I had to borrow some gaffers tape from the sound crew which was AWESOME and felt WAY stickier than this junk. I wish I could return this but I've already used some of it. Maybe think that blue painters tape would have held better. I should have known by the price that this stuff was crap.As a professional, I simply do NOT recommend this tape....EVER!!

Generally gaff tape sticks to nearly everything pretty well. This tape not so much. Literally falls off my project all the time. It was fine for a Halloween trip to the science with my daughter, but I wouldn’t trust it for any weight. I can say the feel and weight of this tape is pretty awesome and it feels high quality. I’m giving 4 stars bc of these characteristics, but adhesion for me was lackluster. Possibly bc I’m not able to apply a ton of force to set it up solid so that’s why I’m only dropping 1 star. YRMV, but for my case it could’ve been better.

The gaffers tape is well made with a moderately aggressive adhesive that does not leave any residue when removed. Fairly easy to tear to length and has a nice fabric textured feel. Works very well.

Used this to decorate my car for trunk or treat. The roll is huge!!!! Didn’t need all that. It worked though

Not as sticky as the brand I normally get but good enough. It peals up a but realy easy doesnt always stay down. It's leaves no residue though so it's def not the worst

What I Like - The matte finish is non reflective as described. Easy to rip. Doesn’t leave much residue, if any. Definitely a cost effective purchase.What I Don’t Like - I did find this brand to have issues with adhering to itself. Even a few days later, there’s parts sticking up and I have to keep going back to press it down so no white shows. Also, I had issues while unraveling, as the fibrous strings on the sides would never come off with the tape, and always make things more difficult and either get in the way, or needed to be cut. It just didn’t work as well as I expected, especially when it comes to adhesion. I was hoping it would function much better.
