I don't mind paying 3-4 times the price of competitors but this charger is garbage. I have three triangulated ground rod on leads than a mile of total fence and it wouldn't zap a mosquito. The first day all my cows walked right through it. If you have cattle you know they know that a fence is hot and they stopped, nosed it, and walked right through. The fence tested they provide said the fence was at full strength with no issues. Poor charger don't was the extra cash!!

I bought this to protect my beehives, it works well and has one hell of a spark! has several settings from weak for domestic animals to wilder kind like bears.

Charger was not in original packaging, showed up with scratches and scuffs all over it. Packed in shipping box 5 times its size with no packing. Needed it now so I kept it and it works fine.

After paying a fortune and expecting a thirty mile charger to excel for a mile of fence I was met with disappointment. Didn’t stop a cow let alone a bull. I installed three ground rods ten feet apart. I let the charger charge until the battery was fully charged. I released four heifers who walked right through it. I won’t be buying another one especially one that cost me four times more than other brands. I assumed you get what you pay for. I was wrong.
