I recently bought a Pelican Rally 100XP (same as the Rebel, Axios, Sentinel 100XP) kayak. I ordered these plugs based on the fact that they appear tapered since my scupper holes are tapered. But when they arrived they were too tall to fit and would not seal the holes. I really needed some plugs for an upcoming trip and there is no time to reorder so I took a chance and modified these to work. I have not yet tried them so I don’t know how well they will work when in the water, but after my modifications they do seem to fit well and feel tight enough that they might seal. I will update this review to tell you how they worked after the trip.UPDATE - They work! I took the kayak out for a paddle prior to my upcoming trip and the plugs kept the interior nice and dry.To do the modification, as shown in my pictures, I untied the rope and pulled the plug apart. I took the top piece of plastic and used a wire cutter to cut off the core part that filled the center of the foam plug, effectively turning the top piece into just a plastic washer. This cut doesn’t have to be perfect, but I did clean it up with a sharp knife afterwards. Then I cut off the bottom two smallest segments of the foam, and reassembled the remaining parts to produce a shortened, fat plug with room for it to be squished into the hole due to the absence of the filler core from the top piece of plastic. I retied the rope with the knot closer to the plug to hold it together better.

I love the color, and the fact they fit any hole. Unfortunately, their designated purpose is compromised by their design. They may seal the hole very well, but leak through the center where the pull string is located. Thus, they do not allow for a 100% seal. Isn't this the reason you want them? They can however be modified by applying a silicone sealant to the bottom of each plug. (See attached pictures.) This will make them waterproof. The Company's customer service is superior. They reached out to me when they read the feedback and quickly wanted to make it right. In my opinion, they went above and beyond with making sure I was a completely satisfied customer. Do not hesitate to do business with them, as they surely stand behind their products.

They do NOT fit all sizes. I have a SOT kayak with scupper holes that I wanted to plug so the dog would stay relatively dry. The plugs would NOT fit the holes- not because of the foam material- but because of the plastic core and base. The plastic wouldn’t fit far enough into the scupper hole in order for the foam material to grip and plug up the wholes well enough to stay in place on their own. I was considering cutting down the plastic at the base of the plug to make it fit, but for a couple bucks mote, I could just buy some that fit my boat. Please see my secondary review on their upgraded product: GanFindX B0B5ZHQ9QR 6-Pack OrangeHandle Fits Most Drains

I bought these Scupper Plugs for my Old Town 106 pedal drive kayak, and they fit perfect. Exactly what I needed, great product and reasonable price. I’m totally satisfied with my purchase.

They're not a B**** to get out or put in, like the originals, and they float. Works for me.
