Raise the door full up into the curve of the track gives more clearance. Use some rubber lube and get a helper so one person can guide it into the track. Took my son and I about a ten minutes to install it.

PRODUCTGarage Door Seals Bottom RubberREVIEWIf I knew it was this easy, I would have replaced this years ago. It took me about 20 minutes on my own to replace this strip. Most of that was me looking at the old strip trying to figure out how to remove it. Hint: It just slides out.I slide out the old strip that was chewed up by critters and then slid in the new strip. It would go much faster with 2 people, but even on my own it maybe took 10 minutes once I got the hang of it.One tip: (maybe obvious) is to put the garage door about half way down, so that you can easily push / pull the strip onto the rails without going up and down a ladder.Once I had it in place, I just trimmed the extra and then I was done. Super easy, anyone can do it.RECOMMENDATIONI highly recommend this as a quick easy fix to worn out bumpers.

This door seal was easy to install and fit well. It also seals the bottom of the door to the floor nicely with no gaps.
