Very well made! Thick, and that extra circle of rubber in the middle really makes it sturdy and it seals very well. Just use some PB blaster, WD-40, dish soap, anything to lube that track up. I try to keep it minimal on the rubber or it’ll get all over it and you won’t be able to get a grip to pull it. Much easier with 2 people but if you’re a one man band like me just lower the door to a level you’re comfortable pulling with and prop the seal up on the side you aren’t pulling on so it’s level with you so you can pull it straight though. You don’t want it hanging down one end and pulling the other it makes it 10x harder. If you have help just get someone to hold the seal up to you height it’ll make it go in much easier. When you’re done I cut it a little long incase it contracts

If you are like me and looked at a dozen of these listings and can’t decide then I’d say buy this one! There is another one that looks the same for a similar price called DGSL that is currently the #1 seller on Amazon but I would say avoid that one. I bought that one off Amazon three years ago and it took me 3 hours to install because it was constantly snagging. But it did eventually work. Three years later and it has cracked and hardened. I bought it again and spent over three hours and it would not get past half my small garage door even with a ton of silicone spray. My wife helped this time and you can tell part of the issue was how stiff the rubber was. It could barely bend. I eventually returned it and got this one. Right out the box you can see a big difference. The rubber weighs the same but it’s darker and smoother and very malleable and bendy. I ended up soaking it in a bucket of hot water for 15 minutes anyway to get it even softer. This one slid on immediately with just soapy water. Every foot or so we reapplied soap to the tube itself in addition to the track and it would slide in another foot without issue. Practically finished in 30 mins except my track was pinched so I pried it out a bit with a flathead screwdriver and that eventually fixed it. One hour total but we took our time since we didn’t want to risk tearing it. Totally recommend this one over the other top seller. The rubber felt newer like it wasn’t sitting in a warehouse for a few years. So glad I switched brands. Tip, leave a bit on each end sticking out as much as you can without scraping the track. It will shrink over time as it gets colder so you don’t want to end up with a seal that leaves a hole on one side. That happened to me 3 years ago. I was pulling on that one so much it must have stretched out the tube and it slowly retracted after a few months. By the fall that seal was short one inch on the right hand side and it wasn’t chewed on by rodents or anything. But water was getting in from there. Also make sure you buy one of those rubber floor seals for the garage too. You need construction sealant to glue it to the floor but the rubber on rubber seal keeps the water and cold air out better.

wanted to give this one star, just because it was such a pain in the arse to install by myself :) lol... had to wait for the wife to get home to help finish pulling it through.. so, unless you have a single car garage, have someone help you.. it was a pain to get started.I'm very happy with the finished product, and that's all that matters

I needed a little more depth to seal the gap. The extra depth was perfect. Installed in a few minutes. If you cut to length before you install it you will save the hassle of cutting it with the door track in the way.

Nice thick material, and creative design. Beefy. Would work very well if you have a pretty level floor. The material is quite stiff and won't flex enough in the cold of winter to prevent gaps at each end of my door. My floor has a bit of a hump in the middle. I see daylight on both ends, and I have adjusted my opener down position as low as I can. Material is just too stiff in the cold. I've even tried to step down on the middle of the door to compress the gasket, but I can't. The old gasket was much more pliable and I had no problems with daylight gaps.

It’s very important you know the size of your track channel in order for a fast install. This product fit my garage seal track perfectly. Clean your track with a nylon brush, spray a little silicone lubricant, slides in like butter! Extremely satisfied with my purchase.By the way my track was a T-End 1/4in

This garage door seal is thicker and heavier than the ones I saw in the big box stores. It is very flexible, giving a nice seal. There are two sizes of T-channels, 1/4 and 5/16 inches. Make certain you measure and get the correct size for your door, or you are going to have serious problems with your installation. Also, make sure you spray some rubber-safe lubricant in the channels. I used RV slide lubricant and it worked well for me. It also helped me to get the old, stuck seal out of the door.
