With the aid of a sturdy box and some balancing, this device worked great in lifting a very heavy garbage disposal to put it back in place. It also was considerably cheaper than the other “official garbage jack.” Women repairing their own garbage disposal should find it “very helpful” as did I.

This lift/jack is made of thin metal. It is flimsy, wobbly and obviously cheaply made. I just bought another one for twice the price and got a solid built lift made with thick metal and it doesn't wobble when lifting or lowering the disposers. In fact, I only used it once and never took it out again. I should have got my money back. My suggestion is to shop around and get the heavy duty model like I eventually did.

This is not what it claims to be. It is a very small Jack that is advertised to be a garbage disposal Jack. It will not even reach the bottom of a disposal
